I think it’s hard to judge him fairly because of the difficult circumstances the whole club has to operate on.
I went to Forest Green and Bristol Rovers, two different results but I still felt dejected by the performances. I do wonder how both games would’ve gone if we didn’t score so early in both, because after that we seemed to have no urgency or energy. Whether that’s because we are so knackered we don’t have the energy, or because once we take the lead we are being told to sit back, I don’t know.
One thing I found interesting during the Bristol Rovers game was during the first half, Wildsmith threw the ball out quickly and Warne was straight out of the dugout berating him. Wildsmith apologised and a few minutes later was on the floor with his gloves off being treated for the first of about 5 times that game. I can’t say that Wildsmith wasn’t injured at all, but it looked like we were just intent on defending and winding the clock down from the second we scored.
It’ll be interesting to see how we look next season should Warne have the opportunity to bring his own style of player in, because right now we’re limping to the end of the season. I think we’re probably better off missing out on promotion this season, in the long-term at least. We could still stumble into the play-offs but I don’t see any way where we win them. We just don’t have enough in the tank to do it.
Its going to be a busy summer regardless, but I think if we had to turn this squad into a Warne squad AND one capable of staying up in the Championship then it’s too much to do in one go and we’ll be back having to rebuild. We should be good enough to be there or thereabouts in League One next season and Warne has a four year contract. It seems the aim is to build slowly and properly, so I’m happy to do that rather than have to rush things, and get things wrong again.

So after all that we will still make the playoffs.

Well you left Sibley out and didn’t replace Osula !

Of course it was complete dominance except for 10 minutes when they scored as the guy got down the flank past NML
Collins scoring and not hitting post and NML scoring 1 on 1s .
Unfortunately football is all about ifs and buts. 
 
Sibley scores 2 against Oxford and then is out after one half against Fleetwood.
I would give the lad a chance earlier in games and not on 80 minutes down the middle .
I have criticized Sibley for his record on bookings but he’s sorted that out to his credit and I’m confident he can win games for us now if given a run with either McGoldrick or Collins .
My point is 80 minutes is ridiculous time to bring the lad on.

Fair enough mate I see your point now .
I think it’s all about which players the manager likes to start games with and how we finish games .
We seem to struggle in the 2nd half of games and I personally think substitutions could be earlier .

I agree with the point about subs bandwagon and yes the subs carved out chances but we didn’t score from them because we needed to flood the box with goal scorers  which we don’t have if you don’t use Sibley and don’t replace Osula

Warne is crap at substitutions, I figured that out a while back, Rosenior was the same. 
McLaren, love him or hate him, knew when to change it.

IMO Warne left it too late to get Sibley and White on etc. 
Cashin ,,Rooney and Roberts worked ok but Barks and Nat not wing backs IMO 
Bird still working his way back to full fitness needs to play but I also think Knight and Hourihane are playing ok  
Warne though isn’t far away from getting it right and we are looking for Barnsley and Ipswich favours against Peterborough.

I get paid £50000/week to manage a football team - not! How could I prove if I come up with better formation? I wouldn't have signed so and so, I'd have played so and so, to what end is there in saying that? However after watching the way we are playing and the way things are going wrong I see no problem saying 'that's not working'! But I don't have the possibility to choose the team.

Again it looks to be about the balance or lack of in the squad. He played Sibley as the 10 in a 4-2-3-1 in those games behind Collins then when McGoldrick came back in Sibley dropped out. Wonder if he thinks they’re too similar, in terms of occupying the same space on the pitch. I’d like to see him start Sibley with McGoldrick on Saturday, give one of them clear instructions to play as the “9”, or alternate.

He admitted yesterday he thought we would go on and score an 2nd goal but he wasn’t reactive enough. 
How Sibley isn’t brought on earlier baffles me and for that decision alone I’m annoyed with Warne but not completely against how he manages.  
 

Well Warne tells the players get it forward quickly and that’s the problem IMO.  We need to play a more structured game plan.
I still think Warne isn’t far off tactically but he needs to reassess quicker in games depending on opposition tactics
