You're right. Him signing a 3 year contract is awful news. Terrible news. He clearly doesn't want to play in league one, despite signing a 3 year deal with a league one side.
How can you read news like this and conclude "well that's him gone then". Absolutely incredible stuff. Honestly.
Got rinsed 3 times by Taylor at Lincoln .
He ain’t that good

This was what it was. I was swore to secrecy so I couldnt say exactly what it was because its not fair on the person who told me. I just recognised people were unhappy yesterday so wanted to try and say look good news is coming.
It’s not that good is it .
He won’t stick around in League 1

But can he play upfront 👀👀
And will he stay for another season in League 1 if we don’t go up .
Typical Derby announcing this today

I thought Max would have wanted to stay at Derby for most of his career but obviously not.
I do wish him well but I don’t want him back on loan as he’s taking others game time up.
I am very disappointed and the 2.5 Million is really poor for a player of his talent.
I mean Bristol City !He has had a tough experience in life and come through it to his credit .
He is my favorite Derby player so I’m really disappointed by this .

You make that appear harsh... Childish even.
... and yet here I sit nodding in total agreement with you.
Yeah, players come and go. I get that. A straight forward transfer would have no complaints from me. It's the loan back that niggles!
To be wearing The Ram after effectively saying "I don't want to wear The Ram anymore", makes me feel a tad nauseous, if I'm honest.I get he's a pro. I get he'll "Still try his best whilst he's still here"... A bit like a lotto winner who has to serve a month's notice before heading off into the sunset... no way are they gonna be at the top of their game, for the duration!
I'll try not to boo him, but remember, he actually ain't one of ours any more, so meh!
If he wants to go then don’t play for us.
What’s the point .Let the other midfielders have game time

Got the impression from LC last night Gregory wasn't top target, now both DD and LC moaning about Wednesday. How is the nobody else out there?
It’s ridiculous IMO.

Moaned about Dom and Leigh earlier, wish i hadn't, their latest tweets aren't filling me with hope. Was Gregory really our main target today??
Are you saying it’s now more likely we sign someone

What he does in his private life is no concern of mine!
I haven't listened to the interview, and my previous posts on the topic suggest I think he's a promising signing who may well provide something we're lacking.
The above post was just a bit of fun.
Of course it was .
I hope he does well at Derby .
He will be a player with lots of energy by the look of it .

I mean...
It's not exactly twisting it when it comes from the horse's mouth
"I’d describe myself as a box-to-box midfielder"
For the uninitiated, that's what we in the business call a "quote"
He didn’t just say that did he !
Have you dissected the interview on Rams tv
Approximately 2mins 48 seconds in he says “he loves a tackle”
