I absolutely refuse to accept that Dawkins was a bad signing.  He was very, very good at doing the actual job he was in the team for (keeping the ball, moving it quickly, linking play) while maybe not great at doing the job people in the stands wanted him doing (bombing up the wing and crossing the ball).  He absolutely suited the way we played and he cost us relatively little. He's a textbook good signing.  (And I'm putting aside the fact he wasn't signed while Mel was sole owner...)
Far worse for me are the likes of Malone, Butterfield, Johnson, Vydra, Anya, Blackman, Waghorn, Shackell.  All signed for stupid fees, on stupid wages, and all incapable of doing the job they were signed for.  We got lucky with a few of them (like Vydra), and ended up with them benefitting from completely changing the way we played, but they were all still bad signings IMO.

Maybe im being melodramatic but im a bit pissed with him.
i get that footballs a short career , theres no loyalties etc 
but IF preferred bidder is end of this week .. would it really kill him for the club he supposedly “loves” and “doesnt want to leave” to hold fire a week or two?
We get a contract on him and we protect a potentially valuable asset and can at least get some of the money back weve put into giving him a career.
u would think whoever the PB is would literally be offering our young players contracts to protect those assets with minutes of getting their name above the door
just hugely disappointing and yet another body blow for us to absorb 

No anger, but not impressed.  It’s not like he had to make the move now.  He would have been in high demand at the end of the season if we were still not able to offer a contract.  Not the action of somebody that “wanted” to stay.

ref had a pair of baalocks, thompson launches it up the line, they dont get a double deflection goal etc etc.
its what happens when u have a team of kids, theyre still learning, theyll make mistakes, they wont see things an experienced player would. 
 
and to be fair to thompson hes a sitting midfielder and not a wide up and down box to box player, no complaints hes a young lad and will learn.
today makes u realise how much we miss shinnie and jags

Awful defending
im fuming with that third .. their wideman was in his own postcode.. fozzy should be up his ass at every bloody opportunity not giving him his own postcode
