What a difference a week makes!
Massive credit has to go to Warne, his coaches, and the players for finding the character and the nerve to bounce back and earn two big wins.
There have been times in recent games - the equaliser v MK Dons, the stoppage time penalty v Bristol Rovers, Bolton and Peterborough leading at HT in midweek, and Burton holding firm at HT today - that might have broken other teams’ spirit.
    But not us.
The agonising thing is that the work is not over. We still have two big games and two big performances required. We might need four points.
We have to expect Peterborough will fight us all the way. But honestly I think that’s for the best - we want to be going into the play-offs in winning form, with momentum, and ready to dig deep.
It’s going to be a fun few weeks!

A few weeks ago, you said you’d be amazed if we make the play offs. Now we are in the driving seat with two games to play.
Perhaps in that case, Warne and the players deserve credit for the turnaround?
Your default position seems to be we only succeed against weaker opposition, but as we’ve seen in recent weeks, nothing is a given.
Cambridge and Cheltenham beat Peterborough, Burton beat Barnsley and took points off Bolton, and even today Lincoln beat Wycombe.

Look at Sheffield Wednesday’s recent run that took them from comfortably top to lagging behind in third - a run of 1 win in 8 with dropped points away v Forest Green, Oxford and Cheltenham, the kind of games we have been ridiculed for winning.
Is it really as easy as you make out?
We’ve won back to back games, we’ve gone five unbeaten, our fate is in our own hands - why not enjoy it?

I am not taking anything for granted, but some of your posts in recent weeks have been OTT and dismissive of the challenge bigger, more established teams face playing at this level. That’s the point.
We can’t finish 8th, so whatever happens it won’t be the lowest league position in our history.
By the way, we finished 7th in the old Third Division in 1985 and four years later we finished 5th in the First Division, so maybe the lesson is that things can always get better?

6 goals in his last 5 games.
Why exactly are you trying to diminish a player who is playing a massive (at times singular) role in keeping our season alive?
Yes, I am sure Sheffield Wednesday/Barnsley/Bolton will take notice of his record v the top teams and decide he’s not a threat and triple man-mark Haydon Roberts instead.
