From another thread....
"Great post …. There’s going to be a reasonable crowd for the first time in a long while. We need to make the RIGHT type of noise .. forget the protests, forget the in fighting. We are all in this, every cheer counts.
We talk casually about “academy lads” .. Some of them have been playing 1st team football for a year now - in a echoing mausoleum - Meanwhile they have got stronger, growing, learning, they know what a fight is. Now; the first for many of them … they are going to have 20,000 fans on their side. Lets show them what we sound like and what it feels to have a stadium"
Oh hang on!!
Well 16000, perhaps you've amortised the crowd differently to the rest of the league??

And it wasn't for long

Aw, I'm pleased for you. It must be nice after years and years of wishing you were our equal. Enjoy it, normal service will be resumed in due course. ?
For the last two seasons, we've finished above you, I think that is the new normal...unless??

Umm, in a world where drug smugglers and arsonists are generally considered to be worse human beings than over-reaching but mostly well-meaning business men.
I forget you’re from Nottingham though, where drug smugglers and arsonists are worshipped as gods.
We must rise above this @Red_Dawn

I would have thought that DCFC would be more concerned about how their club is allegedly being funded and the consequences of that when the law finally catches up .
FTFY cmon Daveo - you welched on the avatar bet, but don't let this ruin your legacy

Who are more of an embarrassment our football or cricket team…....discuss……
Can i start the discussion....?
Football team by a mile.
With the cricket, its a different story, nice friendly small club, trying to do things right, horrendous run of bad luck recently and injuries to key players, Wayne Maddeson in may opinion should be Trent 100 captain

I swear we always get the games when everyone has their England players available
I don't think Stuart Broad played today?

From the very little I've seen of him, he is those horrible players that are sly and cowardly, puts a boot in after the ball has gone, always late with challenges, elbows anyone who challenges him for a header. Always feel like he is going to injure someone everytime he steps foot on the pitch.
That's the "Derby Way" surely??

Depends I suppose, at the point of sale the players had generally had a good amount of first team experience and clearly had plenty of potential. In some cases they haven't turned out to be the players we thought they would but that's life. Similarly I would say the same about Will Hughes who I had years ago as a potential England player of the future.
I would've had Oliver Burke as someone who would light the Premier League up when he first came through but that just hasn't happened. On the flipside I would never have said Wes Morgan would've been able to play top flight football nevermind win the thing as captain and play in the Champions League.
He certainly wouldn't have, if he'd stayed at Forest

Can i assume we have taken your place?
You won't need it, and you haven't used it...

May I ask why you say that. And those two in particular? Are you saying they were crap, but Lawrence and Bennett not so?
Calm down lads....they are all crap...just look at the league
