It's hard to see beyond Wycombe finishing rock bottom.
Rotherham started off quite well but are slowly creeping towards the bottom 3. I'd back them to finish 2nd bottom, at least 5 points behind 22nd.
Wednesday, despite also having a decent start, would still be 2nd bottom without their deduction. They may avoid the drop but it'll be very close.
Forest started off appallingly, had a new manager bounce, but now showing bottom 3 form again. Too good for the weaker sides in the division such as Coventry, Wycombe and Wednesday which will just about keep them safe for another year.
Coventry have been in fine form recently, having not lost in 8 and picking up 14 of their season's 22 points thanks to wins over Wycombe and Rotherham. They have enough points to keep them out of trouble for a while, but I fancy them to edge closer to the drop as the season goes on. Probably have enough individual quality with the likes of O'Hare to narrowly avoid the drop.
QPR are falling rapidly towards the danger area. In awful form, a paper thin squad, and a lack in desire to spend money to improve their situation. Cashing in on Manning for only £250k in the summer (rather than letting him leave for a free at the end of the season) is an indicator of their owner's will to spend. They're my pick for 22nd spot

Derby will be above all of those teams come the end of the season.

One swallow does make a summer

There's 2 ways of looking at it, we have been poo and can't really take the piss, or we've made our worse ever start to a season and we are only 1 point behind them, so even at our worse they are just as poo, and it's not even their worst.

Not just as poo, nearly as poo

...and this post was only on Sunday before 'What would McClaren do with this team?' popped up.

We've even got a poster who created an entire user account in the name of a player who'd left about 3 weeks prior, who posts little other than naval gazing about, or comparisons with, said player, (or his favourite manager of said player) and criticism by proxy of anyone who's been at the club since.

It'll all just a little bit sad.

We have one in particular on LTLF who can't let King Billy go. (he knows who he is)

Very true. We have the second highest goalscorer in the highest level of academy football last season, Jamal Hector Ingram, and the the highest scoring goalscorer in the highest level of academy football this season, Jack Stretton, struggling to even make up the numbers yet because of this fantasy of a target man we're left with CKR on the bench.

It makes no sense to me. CKR hasn't had much time and he's not done too bad when he's had a chance, but completely undermines the direction I thought the club wanted to go.

It's outrageous that we have these types of strikers excelling at the very top of the U23 Premier League, but we're not willing to give them an opportunity when we can't buy a goal.

Marriott is the only striker that's scored a goal from open play for us this season, nearly a quarter of the way in, which is absolutely staggering.
