twinthe_12
Yes - that's right we need a holding/tough tackling midfielder.- and I got the player - loan Tom Huddlestone for the season or get Ben Davies in the team again to deliver the balls of quality to Sammon and Robinson.. RIMBAUD
After we have sold Jason Shackell our defense is a mess. Imagen if Buxton this season could have partnered Shackell how big a difference that could have been. the calmness and steady play and influence he meant to the team is from the games ahead clear to see for everybody. It wasn't about money, as Clough did say, because Keough almost cost the same amount of money. Why is Tom Naylor playing, becouse he did play very promesing at the end of last season and a lot better than Brayford who haven't been up to his best lately. Futher on Clough has to give Conor Doyle a chance to impress in the team either on the right side of our midfield or besite Sammon. connor doyle in preference to our other strikers? Please stop starting threads which are merely points that could be made elsewhere.
davenportram
Huddlestone has just gone to Stoke Please think before posting - wummery is not toleratedZ
StaffsRam
No, he's right footed, but when he used to play along side Barks a few seasons back, he played left side. Ah, that's it. Ta. Huddlestone - is going to Stoke. No chance there. Ben Davies - Nope. Coutts and Jacobs can provide.
twinthe_12
No they are both paying as wings - Ben Davies is a natural central holding midfieldplayer who can deliver balls all around the field. Remember allmost all the balls from Coutts comes from right side and Jacobs is playing at left. I would have liked to see what Miles Addison could have done because he was all to slow as a central defender but a real force ind the midfield - remember Bailey and him when the played together - that was real quality. And yes Bailey could be worth a try too.
Ambitious
Ben Davies seems to be a fit, very strong person who could be able to eat up that holding midfield role, his range of passing is very good but I don't think his discipline to play sitting in the back four is the best, neither do I think he is the best tackler in the world! Not a bad call, and physically should work well but in practise there would still be that hole in centre midfield, which needs closing... Or Bryson and Hendrick could step up a notch or two! davenportram
Davies can't tackle - he just stands behind players and pushes them until they either fall and the red gives a free kick or they pass it to someone else.

rammieib
Twin - I think you should stop posting comments mate: Doyle up front. Bavies in midfield as that tough tackler. Naylor in defence. Take a drugs test LOL.
Bristol Ram
No, he's right footed, but when he used to play along side Barks a few seasons back, he played left side. Pretty sure he's left-footed.
Bristol Ram
I take it back... a quick google reveals that he took his penalty against Ssausagehorpe with his right-foot. I was wrong. Still, he's certainly very comfortable using his left. Or else his feet are equally bad! His head's handy though.
DcFc Dyycheee
Pretty sure he's left-footed. Well, whenever I see him hump the ball up or pass, he always users his right foot.

bucktwo
twin, Ben Davies is now the overage skipper and multi penno misser of the under 21's and should remain there until someone takes him away on loan or a freebie. As our dead ball specialist he had good assists last season, however having watched 7 Rams matches already this season , early indications are that both Coutts and Jacobs will be well above him in the chase for a shirt. jagerbob
I used to think jake Buxton might be left footed. mainly because my football manager game said he was. But hes definately not. I think the confusuion might be because he always plays left side of the central defence.. and he has played LB as well as CB for mansfield and burton, (oh and a couple of games for derby). davenportram
Keogh played left side of defense yesterday - maybe he's better in the left side centre half(replacing Shackell) but has been playing right because Buxton can't play right side centre half

ramsbottom
I've just wasted two minutes of my like reading this utter nonsense. Doyle upfront and Ben 'Chopper' Davies in a holding midfield role... I want a refund 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/angry' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
