Posted July 3, 201213 yr I cant see this anywhere, im sure it must be, but in case not, this is what his thoughts are......... Some good ol banter in the comments section too 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ph34r' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> http://www.thisisderbyshire.co.uk/Derby-County-right-track-Premier-League-says/story-16474957-detail/story.html#comments...... yes i know, lazy linker, *yawn* 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
July 3, 201213 yr "CHAIRMAN Andy Appleby is confident Derby County are on course for a return to the Premi..." Right, iv'e read enough.
July 3, 201213 yr I reckon we'll be hearing a lot more from Andy now slick Glick has gone. Still maybe he's right? We should be with all this money they're pumping in to the squad.
July 3, 201213 yr At this moment in time I can't see his logic, at all. Must be on a wind-up. I don't understand how we are better set now we have moulded the club ready for financial fairplay whilst just about every other team in this division continue to spend more in fee's and wages than us. Even the promoted teams have bigger budgets than us.
July 3, 201213 yr Never heard so much ******** in my life!! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
July 3, 201213 yr The article is confusing.Early in the piece "the next term is for further improvement.......to push close to a coveted top 6 spot".Later:"Our next step.......is to push on to the top 6 this year".Perhaps its me but they arent the same thing and still a long way from autamatic promotion.
July 3, 201213 yr During the last year or so Tom Glick has been pretty quiet, only making statements when he really had to. I got the impression that he had learned that the British (and especially the Derby) audience can spot BS very quickly and don't appreciate it. Glicks tone over the summer has been to keep things simle and pretty straightforward. I think Appleby still has to learn the same lessons. Coming out with such a stupid interview just antagonises the fans.
July 3, 201213 yr Mr Appleby is a nice guy from what I hear, he was nice when I emailed him. However it is clear he knows little about football and hasn't got a clue. Every other team is improving on their lot from last season, where as we have added a 20 year old league 2 player who plays on the same wing as jamie ward who is one of our best players.
July 3, 201213 yr Lot of negativity at the moment, i'm sure if Shacks stays this will all change and in a fortnights time we will be talking about the play offs again. Lets not slash our wrists just yet.

Actually he plays on both wings.
July 3, 201213 yr Actually he plays on both wings. But he is far more effective on the right according to the Northampton town fan.
July 3, 201213 yr Pah what does he know? The question surely has to be 'is he more effective on the left than Bavies?' if so then great especially as Bavies' contract is up next summer and we need cover this year and replacement next year.
July 3, 201213 yr I just hope I can see the day we get the promotion. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
