Alfreton Town for me. Locally, I also follow Chesterfield and Burton Albion.

Nationally, I have a soft spot for Newcastle United, and also slight feelings for Luton Town, due to the whole point deduction farce a few years back.

England used to be my second team. Now I think they're somewhere like 60th.

Partick Thistle simply because they seem to be the only people in Glasgow who realise how ridiculous the old firm are, been two a couple of games always been a good laugh and then Barnet because the grounds only a few stops away on the tube and they're the only north london club I don't despise.

wouldn't say I have a second team but I like the way spurs do business & play they deserve to do well

Seriously?? The way they do buisness??? What, having Avon Barksdale on charge and letting him spend close to 200 million?? Yeah, GREAT buisness, great for the devlopment of English football.

Clear 2nd team is AFC Wimbledon - a magnificient 2 fingers to the disgusting decision to relocate their club to Milton Keynes

Previous 2nd team were Ssausagehorpe Utd as I grew up there - but then they got promoted, their fans started getting lippy & they beat us 4-1. At home. That took ages to get over.

Also a lot of current admiration for Norwich & Swansea - hope both stay up

OK i know i'm going to get shot for this buts its Leeds. I supported them as a kid and through my school teens, been to Elland Road loads but when i left school my lifts to Elland Road dried up so i supported Derby. I also support Ilkeston, and the majority of our local non league sides. Other teams i have a soft spot for are Greenock Morton ( nearest big Scottish side to the wifes Grandparents and i've been and it was dire!!!!!), Notts County cause thay hate Forest as much as we do .....

Ha! My 2nd team (Stafford Rangers), beat Barnet 3-0 in the FA Trophy final at Wembley in 1972, I was there! Stafford did the double that year. Northern Premier league champions (iirc Wigan were 2nd!) and won the FA Trophy. It was in the days of re-election for the teams finishing bottom 4 of the old 4th division, there was no automatic promotion.

Stafford were probably the top non-league team in 1972 and Derby were the best team in England, Spose i was a glory hunter!

We all know who Ianm's is but do you lot have second teams - if so who are they, why and what level does it go to - be interesting to see if people follow a bigger or smaller club as well.

I don't and can't understand it. What if the two teams play eachother? What happens then?
