DerbyshireFox
Did you use all of these ingredients Fox? The first time I did it, yes, but this time I just used 3 heaped table spoons of bog standard curry powder and 1 heaped table spoon of garam masala(for the spices). The garlic and ginger were fresh, 8 clovers of garlic and about 2 inches of ginger root, 3 big onions, 2 tins of chopped tomatoes. I also added a table spoon of sugar. The important thing is the blender, I used a hand blender as shown but if you haven`t got one a fixed blender will do. After making the sauce, I fried 8 chicken breasts and added them to the sauce, after simmering for 10 minutes, added 3 chunky cut bell peppers, 5 chili peppers and a tin of chickpeas and left it for another 10 minutes, I then took it off the heat and added a pack of fresh tomatoes. I got 10 portions out of it and froze 8.

For example for some reason Lamb isn't sold here in Mexico at any of the big supermarkets.. I've been craving a lamb sheppards pie for so long now! Wolfie
No idea what it's called but I adpated it a lot from a pork recipe in a book: "Chicken & Chorizo with Paprika...." For 2: 1 red onion, sliced finely. 2 chicken breasts, cubed 1/2 a chorizo sausage, chopped into discs Paprika Creme Fraiche 1 cube chicken stock Cook the onions slowly in a little oil for about 15 minutes Add the chicken & cook for a few mins & put to one side Fry the Chorizo discs briefly on each side then add to the chicken & onions. Add about 200ml of chicken stock and 2-3 teaspoons of paprika (not the hot one!) Cover and cook for 30 mins, stirring occasionally. Finally add about 150ml of creme fraiche, stir & bring back up to simmer. Add a touch more water if needed & serve with whatever potatoes or pasta you like. Bloomin lovely. Oh, and I didn't use ghee, don't have any, used a bit of olive oil instead. Have to say, it smells grand.
