abertawe_ram
I made Sammon earlier and without being too big-headed, it was pretty damn good. Get a sammon steak and put it in the middle of a square of kitchen foil. Add some finely chopped garlic and ginger (I use lazy ginger out a jar). Chop up some celery, some red pepper and some carrot to fairly small chunks and put it on top of the fish. Squeeze a good amount of lime juice over the lot and then wrap the foil around it all so no steam escapes. Cook it for 20mins at 160*C (it should go pale pink colour when cooked). Serve it with whatever you want. Sorry its fish again.
Bristol Ram
Love that we're now spelling salmon that way...
abertawe_ram
Bloody hell that transfer's corrupted my spelling... CLOUGH OUT! Needless to say if you can't catch a big, bald, Irishman then you can always use salmon instead.
ladyram
Actually; I had salmon once in a homemade fishcake I had as a starter at a wedding. I liked it so bought some more from M&S but didn't enjoy them half as much. I've yet to bring myself to make some.
