Ironic that so many who are clamouring for this geezer were so against Washington - bear in mind that Washington starts for Northern Ireland and Bonis only made the squad through injury. He does look good, but whichever way you look at it would’ve been a huge gamble.

The Belfast Telegraph is reporting that neither Derby, Bolton nor Dundee were prepared to meet Larne's valuation of Bonis at £300k, which sounds about right. At 23, he has hardly set the world on fire so far.
