Guest Posted March 12, 2023 Share Posted March 12, 2023 1Wildsmith 7 (some important interventions and did the basics well) 34Rooney 7 (a bit extra for a cracking assist and his energy throughout; has to share some demerit for an overall less-than-convincing team defensive performance) 33Davies 6.5 (generally OK individually) 6Cashin 6.5 (as Davies... would have loved to see his right-foot cracker go in!) 3Forsyth 6.5 (as Davies... still on the whole in good form and "adapted" well back to his old position!) 12Smith 6.5 (did well but midfield/defence gave Oxford too many chances especially from free-kicks and Smith was culpable) 4Hourihane 6 (assist for Sibley but otherwise didn't have anywhere near enough influence) 8Bird 6 (good to see him back but not much time to do anything) 11Mendez-Laing 5.5 (underwhelming and made a few sloppy errors, one of which could have led to another "Lincoln" goal) 15Roberts 6 (no time for impact) 17Sibley 7.5 (took his goals really well - hope he can build on this. Will he now be a formidable midfield tackler too instead of a booking-waiting-to-happen?!) 18Dobbin 6 (no major impact, but had a couple of lively moments) 22Springett 6.5 (he obviously put in a shift but limited.
