Hi - is there any buses running away to Cambridge - whether that be supporters groups or private - enough space for 2?

You could try hernorie rams they might have space mate or could try bus outside that pub in derby city centre cant think what is called now but goes to pubs on the way down.

Do you mean the Neptune pub in Derby B4?

No idea who the hernorie rams are though.

On the Cambridge site the south Habbin area that is usually used for away fans when they sell out has been opened for home fans to buy tickets. So anyone hoping for Derby to get an extra allocation looks like to be disappointed ( myself included)

Currently not sold that home fans so why leave it empty when we could fill it for them. You know what will happen derby fans buying tickets in those ends then.

The point of my post was that Cambridge are selling tickets in the South Habbin now to their own fans so it’s not being left empty but there will not be an extra allocation to Derby fans because of this .

Make of this what you will from Cambridge SLO.

With reference to your email regarding the south stand unallocated seating, we have been doing unallocated seating in this area for the past 14 years,

The reason this decision was made is because when there was allocated seating and sell out matches there were major issues with people not going back or using their allocated seats. In addition to this there were groups coming in late or under the influence of drink before the match had started, they didn’t have the same area of seats booked but would block themselves together taking up other peoples seats.

We also have to take into consideration the safety of stewards and everyone, owing to the steepness of the stairways.

There were discussions with the safety advisory group concerning the issues the club had and it was agreed that it would be better if it had been unallocated seating.we also keep a percentage of the seating back owing to the unallocated seating.

There is also a system in place when it is nearly sold out that the two end blocks are not open until the other areas of the stand are full.

This system has worked very well for many years. When we have had ground safety inspections they are very happy with the process.

So basically giving in to drunken mob rule and the ground safety inspectors were very happy with that. I find that quite shocking to be honest.

I agree, absolute rubbish.

So allocated seating works at pretty much every other ground  but not at Cambridge. They'd rather wash their hands of it and allow a free for all.
