Is it sad when someone dies at the age of 95? Great life, living exactly what she wanted to do. I don't say we should be happy, but there is something uplifting also about seeing such a long and fulfilling life accomplished. In certain cultures, large parts of Africa, the funeral of someone who lives a long life is a joyous celebration of what they achieved.

Huzzah June Brown, you made the absolutel most of the life you were given.

A great innings, as they say.  A popular gal amongst her peers, by all accounts, and I get the impression she enjoyed what she did, and what she achieved.  (June Brown that is... Dot Cotton maybe not so much!)
