Captain Mainwaring(Arthur Lowe)had it in his contract(PistoldPete)will confirm ?that he would never appear in anything he considered lewd...and marching in full underwear he considered very lewd...a Propper old fashioned Tory ?

Moving away from Dads Army, or maybe it’s actually relevant.

Russia has announced its next draft plans starting on, I kid you not……..April fools day!

They aim to recruit 400,000 this time around. There are no official figures for the success rates of the previous draft. But it’s believed to have had a 40-60% success rate.

Thats a lot of cannon fodder. Problem is how are they going to equip and train these numbers, when they’ve lost so much equipment and many of their trainers are dead or in the field?

They are sending the poor b******* out there to fight with shovels now, and/or to dig their own grave.

Yep. Seems to be the Wagner soldiers that’s been seen with the shovels. 

Prigozhin has been kicking up a storm on social media about being cut out of ammunition supply lines. Theory is, Putin and the military top brass want him sidelined.

The only thing I can confirm is that Arthur Lowe was said to be very similar in real life to Captain Mainesring, self important and pompous.

He also declared that international airspace, is no longer international airspace when Moscow decides.

They've never respected international airspace, so no change there.

Was just coming here to post this.

It's believed that in the region of 3000 children have been taken in total, so far. They've been flagrant about it as well, as we've mentioned a few weeks ago. I imagine these are the easiest versions of genocide to prove and a lot more will bought out as time goes by and evidence is built.

If they ever take back Mariupol, it's going to take a long time to piece together the atrocities in that city where 25,000 are believed dead and a further 30,000-50,000 believed to have been "deported" to Russia. There are believed to be several mass graves in the area and no-one knows what happened to the bodies of the estimated 300-600 civilians killed in the bombing of the City theatre, which has now been demolished by the Russians......and who knows where the bodies went. There's many yet to be discovered crimes in other un-liberated areas too.

Obviously these charges don't mean anything to Putin, as he won't leave Russia and will ignore it.

Turkey ratifies Finlands NATO application, with Sweden to follow.

Exactly the opposite of what Putin wanted. This invasion has been such a huge own goal from a Russian perspective in so many areas.

Also a big surprise is that Bakhmut holds, after it was assumed it would be taken. Sadly the city has been completely leveled, Russian forces did make gains at massive costs, but they were ultimately held and are now losing ground.

It seems on some fronts Russia has exhausted its offensive capabilities and is going for another mobilsation of 400k to bolster their positions ahead of the predicted Ukrainian offensive.

This guy was a real piece of work.

Interesting that it happened in one of Prigozhin’s old Z-Cafe’s and it seems this was a private Wagner function

There’s a video doing the rounds of him receiving and opening the statue, it looked pretty hefty!

It makes a change from being pushed out of…………errrrrrr falling out of a window.

British secret service said that they believed a Russian hand was involved...which arm tho is anyone's guess at the mo 🤷‍♀️
