he cost them around £4.5 million.  We had him on loan for £1.8 million each season, then West Brom have now got him on loan for £2.7 million.  So Brighton have made £0.6 million profit per year on him, would hardly say that classes as a lot in football terms. 

In my opinion he was way better than 'just ok' for us. One of the best CB in the Championship last 2 seasons. I honestly think he would cope well in the Premier League right now, but he'll probably be there year after this anyway.

Like the way he gets slagged on here, will see how much of a loss he was when we start the season with our academy players at centre half.

Good player is Clarke. Him and Keogh would have made a great pairing. Cocu really was cursed. Not convinced he’d make it in the Premier League, but in the Champ he is a very dominant centre half.
