U23s vs West Ham (H)

A gusty first half performance.  Am impressed with the team's ability for technical play in these conditions.  Bielik is still quite rusty, but showed signs of what he is capable of and that hard ground hugging through ball to Stretton for the second goal was just sublime.  Haven't seen that kind of capability from a Derby player since Thorne.  Archie Brown is a real handful for WH down the left, he seems even stronger physically now.

Bielik was perilously close to a second yellow card. If he gets one, does the ban apply to the first team?

U23 only

But this is still poor management. Bielik desperately needs games and mustn't get suspended. It's not worth the risk of keeping him on the pitch at this point.

It's a risk, sure, but every minute passed 60 that he plays prepares him better for the next game
