Coventry City - New 20000 Stadium to cost £100 million !!

Announced this morning that Coventry City are hoping to build a new Stadium on ground currently owned by Warwick University.

Initially with a capacity of 20000 with scope to enlarge the likely cost will be nearly £100 million.

How much now to build Pride Park ??

Makes the valuation of £80 million look more reasonable.

Thank you for that Coventry, helps our argument with the idiots at the EFL.

The Ricoh thing was always dodgy. SISU get a lot of flak, but the local council are perhaps more to blame. They demand a % of all receipts at Ricoh, basically meaning that the club cannot make much money on matchdays. This stadium is fair enough for me, keep it owned by the club. Reap any rewards.

My word did Mel Morris value it?!

I suppose it's better than burning it down
