I’ve asked for an appointment with him to discuss it in person.

I’ve told him it’s a load of lies?

Put his arm out...ffs.

How to properly manage that well known public order incident of a family leaving a match early?

Well if you need a character reference, there's loads of us on here who will back you up.

The injustice of this would boil my you know what, making you out to be a bucket mouthed aggressor to save his lying skin. There ain’t much you can do when ranks are closed in order to sweep something under the carpet, it ain’t right but they’ll never look into it properly.

The only consolation I can offer you is a lot of people on here believe your version of events and are not surprised Rotherham United chose to deal with this unsavoury matter in a halfhearted manner and apportion blame in your direction.

We know what’s what John, eff ‘em. ?

Cheers mate, this doesn’t surprise me.The only defence in this situation is self defence or to make out was aggressive and abusive to justify their actions.

I haven’t got a leg to stand because it’s my word and Josh who’s 16.Joel doesn’t count because he’s deaf and mashed up and would not be a credible witness

The point I have made to Rotherham is that considering the circumstances does it make any sense or any reason that I would be abusive and threatening when we are just trying to go home?Or is it just a group of people who’ve got their heads together and said ‘we better say this’.

I feel sorry for Rotherham.

Just go,we’re sorry we dealt with it badly,apologies...it’s sad.

I will see if he honours my request to speak him in person and view the CCTV and then move on with the rich tapestry of life.

To be fair to DCFC they have been brilliant and done everything they could, apparently they are dealing with multiple complaints re Rotherham security.

Joel made a friend for life in Michael Johnson and he phoned the SLO who have spoke to me at length.

Having followed your very unfortunate experience and also the events regarding the other completely unrelated incident on Saturday, i have a horrible feeling that RUFC stewards will maybe lump all DCFC fans together and potentially think we're all a bunch of idiots. I wasn't there but it sounds like a right old afternoon of idiocy from many areas, which looks like it might not help your cause. I really hope you get a more favourable pending outcome but if you don't, try to stay positive and take positives from doing the right thing.

I’ve no doubt DCFC have been brilliant, they’ll know and understand Joel’s history and the urgency in getting him away from the ground, and while I applaud their support, and feel a little pride at their compassion for your family, it’s not their place to be brilliant in this instance, it’s chuffin’ Rotherham Uniteds place and they chose not to step up to the plate.

Big up to Michael Johnson mind, speaks volumes about the man. ?

Your right and they told me it’s not their job but they wanted to look after their fans and offer any help they could.

That bit of support made me feel good about the club and MJ is an all round top guy.

It will always come down to he said, she said..

I can get that there is confusion from time to time and things go a little pear shaped and maybe instructions misunderstood..

What I don’t understand is why what you explained Joel as I’ll, they did not offer assistance rather than just go over there.. They should have offered medical help, Or at least seeing that you were in an agitated state through concern over you sons health, at least called for someone to take you out escorted..

You will get nowhere unless you ask them why they did not provide you with any sort of duty of care as a customer.. They will assume you are just one of those piss heads that some have been digging out on here..
