Sounds like a poor mans Johnny Russell Whilst I’m not for or against this guy joining Derby - I think his main attribute is his creativity, over the past 3 years his created more goals than any other player in the top 4 leagues of English football. My reservations are whether he can take that up a level into the championship. I’m not overly excited by being linked with him but if he can produce as many assist as he has in league 1 for us then he’d be a good signing. Papahet Posted June 25, 2018 Share Posted June 25, 2018 Guys like Martyn Waghorn are players we should be targeting. Scores wherever he goes, regardless of the quality around him. He always stands out and has proven he's more than capable at this level. Duffy is another who always looked a tidy player at Burton and now Sheff United. Adam Reach, Luke Freeman are two others who would improve us and would be less of a gamble than Maddison - they are already Championship players and held there own at this level. Peterborough are quite clever at what they do, always bringing in managers to outscore the opposition at the expense of there defence. Hense them always seeming to have excellent goalscorers.
