Have opted for a 2 night stay in Frankfurt and to travel by train on day of game (return) - Frankfurt is about 1hr 30 on train away...

Damn I had better get my act together !!!, Where are you flying from ?

Think we will stay in Kaiserslautern itself  (AIRBnB to the rescue)

Someone give me a clue on which city to get a flight to please @GermanRam?

When world cup was on,we used to fly to amsterdam, and train to Germany

Used to take approx 2.5 hrs to cologne, and a further 1.15 down to frankfurt

Great service and was a lot cheaper

trains in DE are a rip off like in england. makes sense to fly somewhere near, or at least get a flixbus or something. Infact because of the cost of trains there are a lot more megabus/nationalexpress companies operating in germany.

Last time i looked you could fly to berlin or amsterdam from east mids.
But Brum airport flew to so many more german airports, because they arent just restricted to the easyjet tourist destinations.
Think you can get to cologne, dusseldord, hannover hamburg bremen munich and frankfurt from birmingham international.

Will there be a live stream on our fantastic new internet service?

Yes. For about £100 a year.

Unless you know any dodgy sparkies who can rig up an illegal streaming box?

Next time David and Mel meet up for Prosecco at the Slug and Lettuce, ask him to ask him if season ticket holders will get a DCFCTV discount.
