So, it's a big fat no from me. Let's just sing his name. Fans of plenty of clubs used to sing it years back, including us on the popside in the 70's. So that was 40 years ago and doesn't alter my point that it's not one of our songs now and if we sang it no one would know it was aimed at George. TomBustler1884
Without sounding insensitive to George's bad luck and latest injury, it is my opinion that fan efforts on Saturday need to be solely about supporting the players trying to get us into the Premier League. We need to focus on making the ipro stadium an intimidating and electric place to be that inspires confidence in our players and nervousness in hull's. There is no time now to make new flags, banners, songs, etc. So get in your seats at 1215, if you have a flag, scarf, anything, use it, make as much noise as you can and rock the iPro for one more game. If I'm like this now imagine the state I'll be in come 12pm on Saturday!

I agree that nobody would know it was aimed at George and never suggested that we should sing it again, But just because we don't sing a song now doesn't mean it can't be sung again. Just remind me how many songs that we do sing are our songs?

needles
So, I messaged 1884 group to say I'd help. 5:30 at the main entrance they said. So I leave work and at 5:15 I'm ten minutes away and Radio Derby have got Colin Gibson on saying they're already in the ground and putting the flags out. I turned up anyway on time as agreed. No-one around, no way in. Next time you want a volunteer, go and **** yourself.

TomBustler1884
@needles Sorry to hear that, we didn't go into the ground until 520, and I was checking my phone and the forum for a good hour afterwards. It's not an exact science unfortunately but I appreciate having offered to give your time, it must have been annoying to not be able to get in. @falconram @Tamworthram@MrsRam @metalsheep02 if this happens tomorrow, go to the press entrance and say you're here to volunteer with the 1884 group, they will let you in. Like I said B4, no-one around. Ticket office shut, reception shut. Anyway, calmed down now, but still....******* annoying to offer my time and get it thrown in my face. I still love what the 1884 lads do, and I accept this stuff happens, but I won't be turning out again.

TomBustler1884
In fairness to @needles nothing was open, only security would let people in and I didn't mention them, so that's on me. Sorry again mate.
