B4ev6is
I think clemment now has a choice to make who plays in that dm role I think my choice would go for jeff as he in been great form lately. But Craig bryson did well when he came but you have to bare in mind his fitness he has not played since bolton first game of the season. We also have the red scum on friday so do we save him for that. Who would you guys go with for tuesday?
TheDeadlySaul
I wouldn't play either of them in the holding role. I would rather see Jamie Hanson play in that role.

sage
Johnson will play there or we will play Johnson and Hendrick there and play Butterfield in front of them.
Gritstone Ram
I think it depends what formation we play. If we go 4 -3-3 then he may opt for Baird.
Bris Vegas
Hendrick and Bryson have to play in the advanced role. Neither of them can play the DM or the link-role very well at all. Playing either of them in a deeper position would be nonsensical.

Can he play for North Korea then? Johnson DM, Butterfield and Hendrick to start, Bryson on the bench.

SIWY
If we go 4-2-3-1 he may well pick Hendrick to play alongside Johnson. If we go 4-3-3 then I think Clement will probably pick Baird. Alternatively he could play Johnson holding and Butterfield and Hendrick in front, though.

Roll on 10 months and with the pair of them in again, but with Omar as the DM we were terrible...... no 2 ways about it if we're going 4-3-3 we need a specialist DM. Dimmu
Propably Baird will take his Thorne's place. He has played it pretty well for N.Ireland, but not for us...

He will also want to impress to try and put himself in contention for playing against Forest.

It wasn't Omar's fault they were terrible. Teams just became accustomed to sitting back, and then counterattacking when both of them were too far forward and completely out of the game. As soon as teams learned not to leave any space in behind the two of them became liabilities in defensive situations.

jagerbob
In addition to no Thorne, Hughes went off at half time against Forest 10 months ago. And our comfortable first half performance turned to $hit second half. Oh ... and another thing, hendrick has been tryed and failed countless times in the holding midfield role, he simply cannot play it. I hope he never has to play there ever again for as long as I live.
