So many people just too ready to believe all the ****** calling in talk sport etc.... He has had he weight of the English/world media on his shoulders since he was 16 years old, he has been playing for arguably the biggest club in the world and is only 16 goals away from being their highest ever goal scorer ever too....all you haters, face facts...he is the greatest English goalscorer ever. The team that wins a game is the team that score the most goals, the team that wins the league is the team with the most points, the best goal scorer is the goal scorer who scores the most goals...these are quite simple facts that a baby giraffe could understand. Better pass the cranberry then, because I completely and utterly disagree with the highlighted text. I have maintained a consistency over Rooney (best English player of his generation) but for anyone to suggest that a single parameter to the exclusion of all else is the sole arbiter of 'greatness' is, quite frankly, asinine.
