3 years later and he still can't play football either in fairness.

That's all right. Your posting's rubbish, but we don't boo you all the time.

Doubt it's Rotheram since they've seen him play and sent him back!

Didnt Ipswich cut his loan spell short too.

League 1/2 is his level, but he's on high championship wages, that's why We can't shift him.

He may go out on loan again but would have thought we'd have to pay minimum half his wages if anyone would take him.

What a cock up all the chasing we spent on him, oh well this time next year he will be gone and forgotten about. (Unless someone starts one of them worst Derby players line up threads!)

He's probably one of the higher wage earners on low end Prem wages. We did get him from Wigan when they were in the Prem after all.  Wigan managed to make a profit on him too IIRC.  Didn't they buy him for about 700K and we paid them around 1m?  Very bad deal in retrospect, but like others have said credit to Sammon he always works hard and puts a shift in whenever called upon.

I remember a figure of £12k a week being banded around after he signed.

When I read this, I initially thought 'hmm... Sheffield United'

later confirmed to be Sheffield United.
