Gritstone Ram
If he plays and scores i hope he just puts his hand up rather than doing the sliding on his knees thing he did last season. Can we wrap him up in cotton wool?

Countryside Ram
If he score he should run to the south stand and say I am back...
Alan Ramage 4 EVA
Yonks? Weird nickname that! Yeah just looked it up a YONK is a period of time 3 months and 13 days. You live and learn
robglosta
30 minutes before time and with the game wrapped up, we really don't need him battling it out with the Reading lumps.
AndyinLiverpool
Start him then bring him off when he's had enough. That way, you stay in control of the situation. You don't want to be in a situation where you have to put him on early and hope he'll make it to the end.
Kernow
I wouldn't start him but then if Mac said he wants him involved how can you guarantee him coming off the bench? If we're losing with 25 minutes to go is he really going to use up a sub on a CDM? I think Mac wants to see George back as much as any of us but his principal wish will be to see us progress

Jayweb95
Start him.. Wouldnt it be a lot easier for him to start the match and get the feel of the tempo rather than coming on after the pace has been set.. Either way id be giving him 45 minutes. RamNut
I'm puzzled why after just 1.5 games (?) for the u21s we would want to play him at all just yet.
Mostyn6
Personally I wouldn't start him, but then again I do not know how fit and recovered he really is. I would do anything to avoid recurrence. Do I think he will start? No, I don't. McClaren has shown a trend of easing players in, and not throwing them back in too early. RamNut
This is quite interesting. https://aclsurgeryrecovery.wordpress.com/18-2/ "i have met plenty of people who went back to the sport of their choice aggressively (after 8 months or more) and ended up re-tearing their graft. I would stay away until 110% comfortable with the moves, the sensation it gives to the new-built knee and all the twisting involved" I sometimes wonder whether the relatively quick progress at the start of the recovery tricks people into being over confident. <7 months for george? -JW-
I'm puzzled why after just 1.5 games (?) for the u21s we would want to play him at all just yet. He's been training for over 4 weeks, and it's more like 2.5 under 21 games.

North_Stand_Ram
If the medical team and McClaren feel he's ready then he's ready. It's their profession at the end of the day. Remember he's done it before also, so he'll know where he needs to be.
Dimmu
From the bench. He just played almost 90 minutes! Maybe about 30 minutes today, to give Mascarell some rest too.
Leicester Ram
30 minutes at the end, I'd say.
DcFc Dyycheee
I'd start him. played 87 minutes for the U21 on Wed, I'd say he's ready. Bring him off 60-70 minute.
