I've just had a sneaky peek at the Forest forums "demise of Direby" thread.

theyre discussing meatballs, and the cafe at Ikea,

i kid you not.

Stay away at weekend apparently?

i think they were talking about Ikea, and not the City Ground?

Normality has returned after the cup final where they wanted it more and were the better team on the night.

Those three words are key, now it's not the most recent game they're really not in the position to mock a single thing. What shall we talk about lads? Quick change the subject... er meatballs? Yeah that'll do!

in fairness ikea meatballs are bloody gorgeous..

Do they still do the elk ones?

They ought to do something with tomato, aubergines, courgettes, potato and cheese - call it moosaka.

Just imagine how hard it's going to be to find someone to take the club on when uncle Fawaz has cleared off then!

Most likely owner will be HMRC.

Forgot about Andy Reid. What injury has kept him out this long?

Death?

It's apparently still the injury he sustained against us in Sep 2014. He played an hour for the U21s in August. 33 now, his old legs can't be happy carrying that body around.

Funnily enough it turns out I share a birthday with him.

I bet he gets a bigger share than you do.

While I know what you meant by that, the initial thought was still a little depressing

Is it your 65th?

I, er, don't get that.

One birthday's as good as another.

What I was saying (really badly) is that it's not possible to share 'a' birthday - you share all of them because they are an annual event
