How's this for a mission statement?

"Rather than run with passive vacancies, we talk to candidates and then make intelligent, timely approaches on their behalf. You will have our ear and loyalty once trust is forged. The relationships we form with candidates often are for the long haul."

I am embarrassed to say I know the author

Here's a little more

"Our clients include a handful of the industry's leading entrepreneurial thinkers, charismatic influencers in top-tier boutiques, executive search independents in buoyant markets with an eye for expansion and Fast Track 100 companies."

I hate some current hot words.

'scenes' is one, 'banter' is another. I also don't like when people proceed their reply with 'man' - it's not cool.

I say a fair few things off the cuff that don't really make a lot of sense and my mouth 'literally' expels them as soon as my brain has thought of them, usually starting with ''I'd rather...''  I don't like that I do it, it's embedded in me now.

Oh, and people that use the word 'simples' or 'I'm confused.com'
