sage
Truly very funny man. Good actor too, but chose too many crap parts. Sad way to finish a good day
Tombo
Shocking news. Seemed like a good spirited, humorous individual. Just shows how depression can affect anyone. Apparently it's not confirmed to be suicide just yet though.

Bris Vegas
Jesus, things must have been pretty bad to leave behind a wife and kids. Depression is such a bad illness.
ramexpat
very shocking, i grew up watching everything he did, a very funny man
TigerTedd
He was a funny guy, well I certainly thought so. Everyone picks a few crap roles, but his best roles were the dramatic roles: Good Will Hunting, Insomnia, One Hour Photo, Dead Poets Society. I've not even gone to look at IMDb yet, I'm sure dozens more will stand out. I'm properly gutted by this news. I was a big fan. Favourite Robin Williams roles everyone... Now I've checked IMDb: What Dreams May Come. Great film that. And from the comedy side, either Good Morning Vietnam or Aladdin. And it's not a role, but singing 'Blame Canada' at the oscars. Boycie
The most naturally funny guy ever. What a shame. I can remember a rumour in the late 70's that he'd been run over by a lorry when I was a kid watching Mork and Mindy. I guess this ones real. Cisse
Loved the guy since I saw Mork and Mindy as a kid. A great stand up comic who could do all kinds of roles in movies. RIP.
observer
Such a varied actor but was a proper legend, its only when I look through his credits in a list you can appreciate the films he did, good morning vietnam, one hour photo both, and mrs doubtfire only put mrs doubtfire on the other day Depression is such a nasty illness, that still seems to have a stigma around about talking about
