Uptherams
In this interview SM says towards the end how he wants all three to be challenging in the first team by the end of the season: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28694667 Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/15983-santos-calero-bunjaku/ Share on other sites
VulcanRam
I would expect that to be the case or why else buy them? Also, not sure what else he's meant to say? "No, I'm not really bothered, ta, I'm happy for them to bob along without doing too much..." AmericanRam
Yeah I think they will challenge for first team sooner rather than later. All three are pretty good prospects. Srg
don't think this is necessarily news, more just reaffirming the reason for signing the guys Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/15983-santos-calero-bunjaku/#findComment-669286 Share on other sites
Uptherams
Maybe actually viewing the source first would be good. He was not asked specifically about these players. YorkshireRam
I can see Calero breaking through first, what with his great form for the Under 21s. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/15983-santos-calero-bunjaku/#findComment-669306 Share on other sites

Ambitious
I don't get how Calero isn't considered for the first-team, am I missing something? Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/15983-santos-calero-bunjaku/#findComment-673771 Share on other sites
Leicester Ram
I don't get how Calero isn't considered for the first-team, am I missing something? You never know, he could be the reason that we haven't moved on another winger just yet... Thierry Ennui
You'd never get that much time and space against the packed defenses we face. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/15983-santos-calero-bunjaku/#findComment-673803 Share on other sites
EastKentRam
I don't get how Calero isn't considered for the first-team, am I missing something? Albert
I was disappointed to not see him at least on the bench Monday. Not point rushing him in. Considering how many turned on Naylor after that Ssausagehorpe game I don't blame the club for not throwing young uns in for such matches. Tombo
Calm down people, you're in danger of overhyping him, and hype is the precursor to a flop signing. Give him time, take it slow. He's young, and you can't rush these things. Let him keep banging them in for the U21s and get some confidence. Then when he's ready slowly incorporate him into the team. RLACML
Maybe actually viewing the source first would be good. He was not asked specifically about these players. He was asked about us signing younger players, so he basically was. Hardly rushing him putting him on the bench in a pointless cup competition against League 2 opposition. Animal is a Ram
Hardly rushing him putting him on the bench in a pointless cup competition against League 2 opposition. Pointless? Brings prize money into the club (not much, granted), TV money if we're lucky, best chance at silverware as a lot of Prem clubs don't take it seriously, potential crack at Europe?
