Posted August 4, 201410 yr Derby County not happy with how it's been handled as Freeman/Bennett Blades deal breaks down By Derbysport | Posted: August 04, 2014 Comments (4) DERBY County are not happy with the way the proposed double-deal of Kieron Freeman and Mason Bennett to Sheffield United was handled. United wanted to sign full-back Freeman in a permanent deal and take 18-year-old striker Bennett on loan but the move collapsed late last week. The stumbling block appears to have been over Freeman
August 4, 201410 yr Freeman or his agent think that he's charlie big potatoes? Or sheff offering peanuts as there plan all along was to just get Mason as they don't seem too disappointed about not getting Freeman

August 4, 201410 yr What's clough going to do now he can't sign his mates anymore? Looks like he's signed someone else instead.
August 4, 201410 yr Are you surprised they can't do it right with clough? mans nothing like his father No he's not is he? Brian smashed the British transfer fee several times dint he? Don't see Nige having that luxury! This post is designed to stimulate another Clough debate and create unnecessary work for the Mods. Fortunately i'm on the lash in Weymouth and won't be on here again tonight.
August 4, 201410 yr Looks like he's signed someone else instead. I didn't realise Gareth Roberts was still playing?
August 4, 201410 yr Failing to agree personal terms is nothing new. The issue seems to be that Schteve thinks they sent Bennett back, and Nigel believes that we wouldn't let them have Bennett. Chris Evans to explain.
August 4, 201410 yr I thought Derby wouldn't let them have Bennett because the deal agreed between the clubs was for both players moving over not just one.
