DERBY County are not happy with the way the proposed double-deal of Kieron Freeman and Mason Bennett to Sheffield United was handled.

United wanted to sign full-back Freeman in a permanent deal and take 18-year-old striker Bennett on loan but the move collapsed late last week.

The stumbling block appears to have been over Freeman

Freeman or his agent think that he's charlie big potatoes? 

 

Or sheff offering peanuts as there plan all along was to just get Mason as they don't seem too disappointed about not getting Freeman

It sounds like his agent moved the goalposts.

Failing to agree personal terms is nothing new.

The issue seems to be that Schteve thinks they sent Bennett back, and Nigel believes that we wouldn't let them have Bennett.

I thought Derby wouldn't let them have Bennett because the deal agreed between the clubs was for both players moving over not just one.
