Leicester Ram Posted December 20, 2013 Share Posted December 20, 2013 He'll make some really good signings for that level, expect to see a few SPL starlets go to United and do well there (a la Bryson and Russell). He seems to be doing the basics right, sounds like he's shored them up defensively and basically turning them into a different outfit. Hopefully for them he'll turn Baxter into their focal point, play him just behind a front 2 and let him rip into some teams. Also would love if we sent any of Bennett/OB/Gjokaj/Freeman/Hoganson/Sharpe out on loan there for some experience, hopefully they'd shine. He seems to be steadying a ship and I'm starting to wonder if that's his calling as a manager, the sort of leader who can turn around clubs that are suffering due to too many failures on high wages.
