Well, he must have left an impression on Lee with his constant "woah you're crap!" Comments.

That's one in the eye for the people who say that Nigel never gets anything right.

SEAN Dyche is set to meet with the Burnley board tomorrow to outline his budget and plans for his summer rebuilding project.

The Clarets boss is set to sink his teeth into the transfer market for the first time since taking charge six months ago, with Motherwell goalkeeper Darren Randolph understood to be on his wanted list.

With a number of players set to move on during the closed season, Dyche will be offered the opportunity to

put more of his stamp on the squad. Burnley have already been linked with Brentford duo Harlee Dean and Harry Forrester, and Bradford striker Nahki Wells. Butthe future of current players will also be on the agenda, including Brian

With Lee Grant seeming less likely to remain at Turf Moor after ongoing attempts to secure him on a reduced deal, and third choice keeper Jon Stewart out of contract, the Clarets face going into the summer without a goalkeeper on their books, raising the potential of Jensen being offered a further one-year deal after his testimonial year.

Eandolph is believed to be high on Burnley’s wanted list too. The former Charlton Athletic goalkeeper, who had a spell on loan at Accrington Stanley at the start of their 2005/06 Conference promotion season, has just been named in the PFA Scottish Premier League Team of Year

The Clarets face fierce competition from Birmingham City to land the 25-year-old Republic of Ireland stopper.

Bur of his first opportunity to delve into the transfer market, Dyche said: “We’ve got targets we want to look at and I’ll be speaking to the

After you remove all of the adverts about trips to Skeggy and Minehead what does that all actually mean

Yeah sorry about that. The story's basically about a goalkeeper that is on Burnley’s radar and that lee grant looks less likely to remain at Burnley because they offered him reduced wages.

DERBY County are expected to complete the signings of goalkeeper Lee Grant and striker Chris Martin this week.

And the double swoop could be only the start of the club’s move to strengthen the squad for next season.

They are confident of landing Craig Forsyth once Watford’s season is complete.

The Rams are also making strides in the hunt for Blackpool defender Alex Baptiste and striker James Vaughan, who has been on loan at Huddersfield Town from Norwich City.

Derby have registered their interest in both players.

“We’re close with a few players and we should have some news this week,” said manager Nigel Clough.

Grant, who started his career at Derby, is out of contract at Burnley.

The 30-year-old is the Clarets’ player of the year this season.

He helped Burnley to a 2-0 home victory over Ipswich Town on Saturday and was substituted in the 90th minute to give Brian Jensen a few minutes on the pitch in his testimonial year.

Grant left the Turf Moor pitch to a standing ovation.

He is likely to come in as Derby’s first-choice keeper, raising question marks over the future at the club of Adam Legzdins and Frank Fielding.

In his programme notes on Saturday, Rams chief executive Sam Rush said: “The squad planning for next season is progressing very nicely and we should be in a position to start confirming additions within the next week or so.”

Fielding too short to ever make it in England. Could be decent in Europe. Can't claim a cross to save his life.

I'd keep Legzdins if he was willing to sit on the bench, which I doubt. That said, can't see another Championship team having him as number 1.

I like Grant. All accounts a thoroughly nice guy from when he was around before.

Most important player on the park.

A very good signing grabbing a player in the absolute peak of his career.

An absolute steal to be bringing a player of his calibre in on a free.

Will bring a massive amount of experience and know how to the side.

This I feel may well prove Clough's best signing yet.

Hopefully Clough will let Lego go for a small fee and Fielding will be offered new terms and will learn the ropes from Grant. He's still a baby for a keeper.

He may still be a keeping baby, but don't think he'll grow a foot taller to make him any good.

What worries me is that we have already got Martin and Forsyth playing for us so they're not like new signings yet we still finished  a country mile away from the play off's, our form with these players in the team was patchy at the best so what are they going to add to the team in getting us into the Top 6?

Hopefully with a few better players around them it will help. But we have to sign those better players.
