Albert
Ok from that I just assume you don't understand what the term regular is.. Did I mention that Leacock alone got us promoted? Anyone? Nope, I didn't say that.. A waste of money? He was a sound sound investment.. A regular in a side who got promoted and earned us mega bucks.. A great contribution. You're straws have just snapped.. We paid too much $$ for Barker whilst Leacock contributed alot to DCFC and made the club plenty of $$ Leacock > Barker Snap. By saying that Leacock earned the club megabucks you're crediting him with the success. Do you mean to contributed to it, or do you mean his invested made it happen? Please remember this is the same overpaid Leacock that we ended up cancelling the contract of last season (I'm fair sure). You seem to be the one to not understand the term regular. Was Steve Davies a regular throughout his time here or not, was Commons a regular in his second season here? You keep using $s, what on Earth do you think you're writing? Leacock was a part of a team that earned the club the $$.. He deserves credit and his ability at CB that season hasn't been seen for the past 5 years.. His ability that season and his performances were far better than anything Barker has produced.. And because of his contribution, we got promoted and earned much more money than holding onto him for the following 5 years.. He was a success here, just like Gadsby was.. Was S.Davies a regular here? I don't know, tell me how many appearances he made each season and I'll let you know.. A season lasts 46 games, to be a regular throughout the season you need to play the majority.. For a mathmetician this surely isn't out of your reach to figure out.. What next.. Are you going to tell me John O'Shea was a regular for Man utd?

I already told you they weren't. ...this is just pointless, you know what, go home and worship your little idols of Leacock if you will. I doubt anything could your mind. The fact don't fit with your argument and this is just getting silly. Have a nice day.
davenportram
Look Leacock was part of a well organised defence that fitted together and produce clean sheets etc.... Barker - playing with a different level of teammates has not had that luxury. Ill say again - comparing apples with oranges.
G STAR RAM
Don't be ridiculous.. Will Hughes has his whole career infront of him and Bob Malcolm wasn't a regular.. Talk about a rubbish example.. Barker's highest finish in a regular side is 14th in the NPC = Average Yes, I suppose you are right. Maybe I should have used Pearson as my example! Why are you comparing Leacock abd Barker then? Part of your original argument was that Barker has not played regularly wasn't it?!

Your just a walking contradiction!

DCFCfranco
There's only one way to find out who is better out of barker and Leacock. Look at their rating on FIFA.
Leicester Ram
Barker is injured and STILL has a better rating than Leacock. Says it all doesn't it? Thread closed.
bcnram
This seems to have turned into a Leacock thread. No matter how many € Leacock or how many € Barker cost, I have watched most of their games and for certain, Barker is the better player. The problem with the way that you watch the game Bris old son is that you only see the area around the ball on your computer screen. Leacock was a shocker for being out of position or letting the guy he was marking go. Barker holds his position well but his distribution isn't the best, so he overcomes that by moving it on to others. Many of Leacocks touches on the ball were for Leacock. The fact that he couldn't earn a contract at Orient after we got shot of him says it all.

He continues to contradict himself, hence why I kept having to repeat the point about Davies and Commons. On one hand Barker's barely played, on the other Barker's highest finish was... my word. I can forgive all that though, people can have silly opinions, that's their choice, but what I don't get is him using $s instead of £s, then acting like nothing was off about it all. I actually think he may just be a very good troll, but I'm not sure.
Alph
I think Bris uses '$' instead if '£' because of his keyboard? He's in Mexico. If after a few pages you still disagree and can't find any common ground maybe you guys should bow out? I don't think the debate is going to end anywhere except argument > abuse > ban? Check me out. Peace keeper. Should be in charge I should.

You can do all sorts of things like that: Oh, 70°F you say? ° is "alt" with 0176 (then release) You can do things like ♦♣♠♥ ("alt" then 4 for ♦, or 5 for ♣, or 6 for ♠, or 7 for ♥). How about a smiley face? Hold "alt", type 1 for ☺... ...yeah, that's pointless. Still worth actually using the right currency.

You're either the best football troll I've ever seen or you are SERIOUSLY deluded. I'm assuming you're American (Las Vegas?) so I suspect it's the latter. Either way, don't ever stop posting - I need a good laugh.
