My thinking is to contact the EFL and request clarification on a single point:
Why is the EFL insistent on DCFC settling an unsubstantiated and unproven claim made by Middlesborough FC, as a pre condition to new ownership approval?

I’ve had enough, I’ve sat silently and patiently, foolishly hoping after the points deduction that this was a clean slate.
It’s clear that the EFL have a vendetta against this club and this latest move to block the preferred bidder needs highlighting and discussing from the highest media platforms and people of influence across the country.
As a fan base, chanting in the stadium simply isn’t enough anymore. We need to put real, sustained pressure on the EFL in the form of media exposure and noise.
Small steps lead to big things, the future of our football club is at stake, let’s not let it die without a fight!
Ive emailed just about every news outlet there is. If you have any positive action you’ve done, post below so we can keep track and build momentum.

If Wayne Rooney is standing on the touch line tomorrow (no reason to believe he won’t be), I hope he gets massive encouragement from the fans backing and sends us with a rallying call post match.
This man (lucky to get the job or not), has been a shining light in a crap storm being thrown from ALL angles.
God I hope he sticks with us, because we bloody need him to keep positive and give everyone belief.

If you read between the lines on that statement it says:
Clubs in this league seem to be very upset that you ate not selling them players for next to nothing. We can’t tell you to sell players for next to nothing. But what we can tell you is that you don’t appear to have enough money to make it to the end of the season, and you need to get some money from somewhere. So you need to sell them your players for whatever they’ll give you. Only when you’ve done that, will we agree that you might make it to the end of the season, and let someone buy you.
And if you read between the lines of that, they’re saying:
We actively want to duck you over and have absolutely no reason to help you out. Other clubs are giving us a hard time and it’s much easier for us to please them than it is for us to defend you, and quite frankly, we don’t want to defend you. So sell you’re players, duck off out the championship, and let that be a lesson to you. And you dare to think you might still escape, with nothing but a team of kids we let you keep, then we’ll just find an excuse, or make a new rule, to dock you a few more points. Now stop moaning, or we’ll start actively supporting boro and Rotherham. Who’s got who on strings now, motherfuckas!!!

"I've got players ready to come in.......the Admin has approved this"      So down to the EFL approval* and he's good to go. *gulp
"Sibley is a big part of my plans...he's not going..."
"Lee Buchanan to start against Forest...."
"Letting Sam Baldock go was my decision, a footballing one"
"Everything's agreed with Jags, just awaiting the EFL*"    *gulp
"Other teams should focus on what they're doing...."        In other words, do one. Priceless.
Maybe it's my desire to finally hear Thunderbirds Are Go, but this feels like we really are close to moving on more than any other previous update.

Just jumping in on the comments about the history and heritage of the club, it is something that a few of us have been actively doing for a number of years at huge personal expense, though i must also say that there have been some fantastic people who see the value in the preservation of the clubs history greater than the pound and have donated precious items, i am one of the founders trustees of the ramsheritage trust along with @cstand and a few other like minded individuals and we pool our collections together to do pop up displays, the Derby County Collection run by club historian Andy Ellis has been doing this for years and we plan on doing future events together and as soon as covid has passed these will be more prevalent.
i always cite the Arsenal museum as a great example of what can be done, its a relatively small building and is all about the history of their club rather than the trophies that have been won and it is done as a time line, it uses modern day lighting techniques very well and display screens with looped video footage, crowd sounds and of course many exhibits, it just has somebody on the door who over sees it, free entry is granted to anybody who does the ground tour, after spending three hours with Charlie George it was the perfect and most interesting end to the tour
its not a money making exercise its just an opportunity for fans to learn and engage with the past.
the past and the history of a club is integral to the now and the future, without the past there would be no club.
i started off as a normal fan as a kid, dad taking me then going with my mates home and away then as i got older i wanted to learn more, that's why i have been researching with Jason and Andy for the book about the history of the shirts and the colours, you then start to find out with the help of Peter Seddon about the meetings in the old bell in saddler gate about how the club was formed and where those players came from, the fact that Derby County was not the best club in Derby but because of the connections it had it became the only club in Derby, lots of intrigue.
so don't write it off as being boring, engage where possible and promote where possible, it is actually quite interesting and who knows this time next year we may have the opportunity to build something permanent.
if anybody has anything up in those attics or sheds then drop me a line at mail@phillowe.co.uk or message on here.

Absolutely. Many smaller (and trophy-less) clubs have impressive dedicated museums to celebrate their past. A museum can be a stimulus to sell club merchandise, refreshments, get fans to the ground earlier and so on.
Our history deserves proper recognition and display - plenty of rare DCFC artifacts in the collection are lying in a lock-up. Shame!
Active fans wish to contribute and curate, at all levels at DCFC and many clubs - and anyone dismissing heritage as being for the benefit of 'a few football nerds' badly disrespects volunteers and contributors: they are the ones who initiate and energise campaigns to bring projects such as the Bloomer and Clough & Taylor statues, giant flag and other historical celebrations to reality.

A museum isn’t meant to be about making money though. There are all sorts of weird and niche museums in the world, like the lawnmower museum. How many people visit that? But those that do will be glad it’s their and that someone is curating the history of lawn mowers.
It doesn’t have to be anything too big and fancy. We’ve already got a trophy cabinet, just extend that with a few other photos, old kits and memorabilia. We just need some sort of formal space to reserve our history so anyone who wants to see it or research it in the future is able to and it doesn’t all get forgotten about in some dusty attic.
Our history is as precious as our trophies.

Or if we loan Ryan Fraser from Ashley's old club. As we wont be bale to help him out with renting somewhere, we can convert one of the rooms at the stadium into a bedroom for him instead. The stadium can then be called 'House of Fraser'.

It's just reached the point of pure embarrassment, from Boro, Wycombe and the EFL.
All those rival fans that are finding joy in all this when they could easily be next, wake up.
The game is littered with utter BS, we tried to find a different way with amortisation to compete with those awarded millions for failure, which the EFL retrospectively on Gibson's request found us guilty.
    Naughty Derby, grow up.
Rules have been retrospectively added to cover the EFL arses. Google enhanced embargo, see what comes up, Derby County, there was never a enhanced embargo before all this, it's something you came up with as Mel Morris publicly challenged you.
Meanwhile we have state owned clubs when sponsorships for official hotels, soaps and rubber ducks for 10x what they could buy this club for in the Premier League.
Do you not even realise how anti competitive the league that's responsible for your revenue is, do you not realise that the very existence of the Championship relies on multi millionaires prepared to be losing upwards of half a million a month, it's not sustainable even by your own rules.
Derby County reject a bid for their player which could be derisory, yet the EFL are on our case, are we in the position now where we have to sell Jason Knight for a fiver to keep Rick Parry happy, if that's the case then just end the game now.
We lost Kaide Gordon to Liverpool for a bag of monster munch and Freddo over that deal you agreed with the PL, how is that looking after your member clubs when they have to gift wrap the young stars that have been educated both on an off the field to satisfy the greed of the top 6 in this country.
Explain the benefit of that deal to your member clubs, please explain as from the fans that love the game, all we see is our clubs being screwed over.
Out of 2 play off finals which we were beaten, we were beaten by clubs that would have failed EFL FFP, we took it on the chin yet here we are, one club using bookies odds to build a case and another that didn't even earn promotion on merit jeopardising the existence of this club.
Meanwhile the MSM are far more interested in the likes of Man United and Newcastle to even realise what is going on outside the gold pit. The game is dying whilst the "journalists" are far more interested in finding the next tweet to create a clickbait article than actually do their jobs.
Nobody wants to touch it, why? We have a Serbian tennis player refused entry to a country and tournament, everyone, every journalist in sport is weighing in as we're sat here in limbo over let's not forget, retrospective punishment.
The EFL signed off our accounts that we have now been punished for, let that sink in.
I'm sick of it, sick of the rival fans looking to take the piss without understanding the situation, sick of the incompetent governing bodies, sick of Gibson and that Wycombe numpty.
We've rolled over, accepted the retrospective punishment, saved the EFL embarrassment of explaining themselves in court, yet the EFL are too gutless to tell the curly haired one to shut up as they are in fear of landing themselves in court over the utter shambolic way they have ran this league.
Grow some balls Rick, accept some responsibility over how the investigations were handled and do the right thing, tell Gibson to F off, tell Wycombe to F off and learn from your mistakes.

The attitude of some vocal fans of other clubs is extremely depressing. I wouldn't wish any club out of existence not even Forest and certainly not just because of something the ex-owner had done. The charges re accountancy were assessed by the good old EFL and we were hit by a points deduction as a result. We have taken that on the chin along with the additional administration sanction. The accounting method applied was not illegal but clearly given FFP considerations and in hindsight it was an obvious attempt to bend the rules but the ranting and foaming at the mouth from some quarters despite us taking our punishment is genuinely baffling. These legal actions by Boro and Wycombe cannot be seen as anything other than an attempt to send DCFC under. There simply isn't the money to pay it so it has to be called out for what it is, malicious attempt to sabotage efforts to save our club and to force DCFC into liquidation.
The naivety shown by some other clubs fans in thinking the actions of Boro and Wycombe is OK and will somehow just teach us a bit of a lesson somehow is quite breath-taking. We are facing an existential threat and some of them seem to think these actions are somehow a relatively minor thing. Their chairmen are trying to kill our club pure and simple. Switch the situations and genuinely I'd be embarrassed and ashamed that the owners of my club were making a conscious and deliberate attempt to doom another club and deprive thousands of football fans of their beloved team.

Many of you will know this bit of Bloomer trivia, from a few years ago and I am not aware of anyone overtaking it. It puts into perspective just how good he was.
The all time top scorers in the big five European league top divisions (Germany, Italy, Spain, England and France) are:
    1.Christiano Ronaldo
    2.Lionel Messi
    3.Jimmy Greaves
    4.Gerd Muller
    5.Steve Bloomer
Steve lost some seasons playing in the second division and was technically an inside forward, not the main striker (he probably made nearly as many as he scored). He also played in an era when the offside rule was three defenders rather than the two today, so his record was monumental. Cannot think of anyone’s statue I would rather have next to the dugout.
