Mel Morris is the new co- commentator

Personally I wouldn’t due to the risk. I’d be tempted to go after Langstaff, Cole or the guy at Stockport who I think might be able to make the step up.
there’s lots of players out of contract too!
-
Potentially Wycombe maybe Orient we might have Gayle and Bird back

Not particularly confident tonight which might be a good thing as I felt the same about Bolton

3-3
2 red cards
10 man brawl
9 mins of added time
3 injuries
two penalties
goal scorers
Bishop x2 kamara x1

Any Smiths fans in Derby ranks? I always find myself singing: 'He was a sweet and tender Hourihane.'
I certainly am with my Morrissey sleeve. I’ve long thought of a Morrissey tune for our players but to no avail. Good effort. Maybe this charming man about Ebou Adams.
-
I can see the following
incomings
GK
LB
CM x2 + Adams
x1 winger
x2 SK
outgoings
Bird
Hourihane- retired
wildsmith
Forsyth- retired
loach - retired
Barkhuizen
extended
sibley
Thompson

Only make it by 1 point? A bit too squeaky bum for me. I assume @simmoram1995’s predictor has us beating Carlisle on the last day. It may pan out that way and we ought to beat them (but so should Posh have yesterday). It would make for exciting end to the season for the neutrals but going into the last game with it being so close is a scary thought.
I know it’s a fools game predicting results just to make it look good (in fact, yesterday’s results proves predicting any kind of results is of little real value) but my fairly conservative predictor (I’ve explained my flawed rationale previously) now has us finishing 4 points ahead of Barnsley and comfortably short of Pompey but not by 11 points.
Yeah I had the following:
Blackpool W
Portsmouth D
Wycombe L
Orient W
Cambridge D
Carlisle W
But that’s being negative personally I think
Blackpool W
Portsmouth DWycombe D
Orient W
Cambridge W
Carlisle W

Welcome to our forum. I have soft spot for Pompey and Bolton after everything that’s happened to us three so I really hope we are the three that go up ideally 2nd for us. I hope you thrash that ambulance chasing cockroach today. Wycombe are worst than forest in my eyes

That Bob Hoskins from Northants would be a great shout. Always looked like he could do it higher up.
Great shout! I liked him in Hook too! It’s a yes from Smee!

I’ve been thinking about this, this is how I’d imagine the table ( top 6) will look like.
I’ve predicted ( very conservative and negative mind you) that we will gain 11 from 18 , Bolton 12 from 21 , Portsmouth 17 from 21 , Peterborough 15 from 24 and Barnsley 17 from 24. Plus I think Lincoln will get 6th with 12 from 21
Portsmouth 100 points
Derby 89 points
Barnsley 88 points
Peterborough 86 points
Bolton 86 points
Lincoln 73 points
what’s everyone else’s opinion?

He's been a very poor signing if we're being kind
I know it sounds like an overreaction but any player who does that, in my opinion should never represent Derby County again. What a disgrace!

From that list
Alan Browne
Callum O’Hare
Ivan Sunjic
Wes Harding
Burgess
Iorfa
-
I’d be tempted to sign maybe Sheean from Bolton who ran the show yesterday or Herbie Kane plus obviously Ebou.
GK - offer wildsmith a new deal then we don’t need to pay for another
RB- fine
CB - fine
LB - I’d be tempted to get one in as Elder is hot and cold plus fozzie’s injury record is a concern - Burrows from Peterborough
CM - at least 2 one being Adams maybe even three with hourihane smith bird (gone) the former two unlikely to stay
RW - maybe another so we have balance and a bit more quality if promoted - Keillor-Dunn maybe or Poku
SK - 2-3 Taylor from Luton on loan at Lincoln, Langstaff from Notts plus maybe a few gems + Gayle for one more year
at least 7 new signings
-
I think his stubbornness is his downfall.
5 at the back again. It’s like he feels obliged to play Bradley so selects his team as such.
1-0 Port Vale and that’s being optimistic
-
-
If promoted
contract renewals
Collins
Thompson
Wildsmith
signings
LB - maybe a prem loan or Ben Doherty from Derry city ,
CB - prem loan or a top league 1
W- Right/left - if Peterborough don’t go up Poku// Keillor Dunn / Jodi Jones Notts county
CM- x2 Brannagan, Chislet, Ebou on permanent / maybe Blair Spittal from Motherwell Dan kemp MK dons/ Crowley Notts county
SK- Langstaff, Hardie, Smith loan player or Shankland / Devante Cole
