Thommo wins the ball in midfield, Knight picks it up and drives at their area, slides a pass to CKR who keeps his composure and puts us 2-1 up ?

Didn’t deal with the corner, Ince with a good finish from just inside the area, 1-1. Derby just need to keep pushing, we’ve looked dangerous and managed the game well up to now, fans still in fine voice. Ravel on for Lawrence, 79 mins gone

Well have sold him by then for 50k because one of our managers "doesn't fancy him" and he'll be terrorising defences in the colours of someone like Palace or West ham..... ?

Ebosele will be an even bigger asset when he gets his decision making right. I love his pace and power, once he gets his passes/shots away he’ll tear defences to pieces

Jozwiak putting in a real shift here, nearly beaten on the wing by Tymon but chases him to the by line and wins a goal kick with a challenge

Game getting really scrappy, Stoke losing any semblance of discipline, keep hounding the ref, Joe Allen given a ticking off for dissent when he probably deserves a yellow for his tantrums/so the ref can regain some authority

Jozwiak ran at their 18 yard box and played a nice through ball which Plange ran onto and finished calmly past the keeper from 15/16 yards ?

Fair play to him it was a super finish from a super pass.
I guess it does prove that if you get opportunities after being a bit below par you have every chance of improving…as opposed to never seeing that second opportunity.

The sky commentary after the goal was superb!
“This is a club which is not feeling sorry for itself, this proud old club from this proud old city, are making these people proud”
I bet the morons at the EFL are absolutely devastated by the outpouring of admiration for this club tonight.
    love it

I had the cracking day at PP yesterday. I won a competition for 2 seats in an executive box, 4 course meal, great seats and free parking outside the main entrance for the game. Had a great time chatting about our mutual love of the Rams to the other winners and to top it all a deserved win over one of the supposedly best teams in the league! Made my Christmas it did! COYR.

Was saying a few games back that he reminds me of Dawkins because his football head still works as an academy player in that he plays safe and keeps the ball above all else. I think in professional football you have to be willing to gamble more, whether it’s on a pass to open up the opposition defence or when to press and close down. It’s also about learning when you can do it and when not to too. Both players struggle/d with consistency because they are having to learn it quite late into their career and so neither reached the potential of their ability (It’s arguable that Lawrence is similar but he has somewhat got a decent number of games under his belt at Derby). That’s not a knock on either player and their football ability (before any of the Dawkins brigade come storming in), but they are two very very good footballers who just didn’t quite finish the course.
    BUT…

…how Morrison put pressure on the defender and goalkeeper yesterday is exactly what’s been missing from his game. Getting on the front foot, working off the ball to put pressure on and the team got the reward from it. He did this throughout his cameo to be honest and it was good to see. So I think he deserves the credit for that.
Football is just as much about what you are doing off the ball as what you are doing on it

Really enjoyed that as a battling win, thought we were in trouble early on as there seemed to be a physical mismatch of sorts. However we dug in and ground out the win. Impressed with all who made it on the pitch today, in particular the back line and Allsop. Loved it late in the game when Cashin went crashing through Clarke in a 50/50. Also thought Bird was going to waltz through and seal it only for it not quite to bounce in his favour. The togetherness and commitment this season is something else. ?
