A forum day out during the summer?
Picnic at Markeaton Park and a kick around.
Pub crawl in Derby
Uttoxeter Races
Meet up in slab square, Notts (for the oldies, we don't need to invite Lesstah)
Will we be safe in Nottingham?

He grew as the season went along for me. All being well he play a big role for us again next season.

Also new deals on the table for
Collins
Smith
Forsyth
Sibley
Wildsmith ( improved)
Thompson
I would agree with these all getting new deals. Say goodbye to Waggy and Hourihane. Gayle and JJ unfortunately have their fitness/injury concerns.
-
Adams, Smith and Thompson woule be a good start at the centre of midfield. Surley there is a deal to be had with Cardiff. 300k with another 100k of add ons?

We want Ebou and Ebou wants to come to Derby. Do the right thing Cardiff...

I must say, that was a most enjoyable weekend.
What I enjoyed seeing was the effect upon the City. Our generally gloomy city streets were buzzing with activity, boozers packed, tills were ringing, and the mood was joyous.
Let's get the open top bus booked and pack the streets once more.
100% we need a open top bus

We have to remember that we can name 9 subs next season so we will likely have a bigger squad than we currently have, probably a squad of 25 plus a couple of youngsters.
Wildsmith - Keep
Forsyth - Keep on a 1yr deal
Sibley - Offer a deal, even if its just for compensation purposes
Thompson - See Sibley
Barkhuizen - Keep
Smith - Keep on a 1yr deal
Hourihane - Release
TJJ - Keep if he can prove fitness over the summer
Gayle - See TJJ
Waghorn - Release
Collins - Release
Personally think we should then look to loan Rooney & Brown out. Potentially loan out Fornah and/or Thompson (if he stays) but that would depend on incomings.
We have to try & keep Adams.
I'd rather keep Collo than Barkhuizen. Gayle and TJJ I agree both depend on their fitness. I do feel if TJJ can get fit he will be a real asset both in a 343 and 352.
-
I think Collo will play a role for us next season. We all know what he can give us. We will need strength in depth up top, as we utilise both a 343 and a 352 next season.
I'd sadly let Waggy and Wash go and go all out for a championship quality number 9.

Would we take Alfie May for 300k?

Pleased to have Ed back. Love his passion, he is one of us!

I don't think Fozzy will have stupid wage demands so for me we have to sign him up for another year. For his contributions off the pitch for as much as on it. Plus we can alwqys rely on him CB or an emergency LB.

Unfortunately the world we live in, I’ll give it a month before some disrespectful moron comes along and adds their own stamp on it. Wouldn’t put it past one of those down the A52 to make a special trip.
That's my biggest fear.

I realise he's not the most popular, especially on here it seems, but that was as heartfelt as it gets. He's a fan too.
Bravo, Ed.
Love Eds passion. Derby through and through. Pleased he's back on the radio!

Agreed. I loved how sibley ran into the crowd as many ran off the pitch (not knocking those who did but more impressed how sibley went in). He wants success for us so I’d have him in even if he isnt as effective as he has been the last couple of months. As for wildsmith, as a goalie myself I like his style. He dominates the box which a few ex Derby keepers haven’t. He makes the odd mistake but which Derby player hasn’t this season. The golden glove is down to him AND the 2/3 in front of him but he is a good keeper. Not prem quality so he should swallow some pride and stay on.
I agree. Sibley bleeds black and white and we need to keep characters like this in our sqaud. It also shows those in the academy what you can go to achieve.
Wildsmith is a fantastic stop stopper and a massive part of the best defence in the league this year. I feel he would be a solid keeper in the championship.

Wildsmith
Sibley
Smith
Thompson
Robinson
Barkhuizen
Collins
They’d give us some continuity and squad depth alongside those contracted beyond the summer, then we could add some shiny new players to strengthen further.
I agree with all of the above especially Sibley, Wildsmith, Thompson and Collins. Smith would also be a solid versatile sqaud option. As for Barkhuizen it would depend on his wage demands.
It's important we keep the team cohesion so we can't and shouldn't go silly replacing most of the team.

As the dust starts to settle on an amazing day when do we expect to see the retained list? Particularly interested to see if Sibbs and Wildsmith have been offered new contracts.
We have to offer Sibs and Wildsmith new deals for me.

For 2 tickets that's an estimate.
It could well be especially if we get promoted.
-
I think we will ultise 343 and 352 next season (depending if we want to go for it on the break and stretch teams or control more of the possession).

Depends on your financial situation and whether taking a £100 hit affects you.
Do we know that they will be going up by a £100 after Friday?

100% we need to add to and upgrade the sqaud not rip it to bits. Half of Ipswichs team is still the team which got them promoted to Championship which may then take them to the Premiership
