  1. Living down yer in Brizzle, I 've got four new local-ish away matches to go to:

14th Jan - Cheltenham - who knew they played at the Jonny Rocks Stadium?

7th April - Forest Green Rovers - who knew their New Lawns Stadium was on Another Street? ?

15th April - The Gas - (that's Bristol Rovers for those not ITK).  At least Mr Popdopopolus won't be there!

18th April - Exeter - The return of MA to St James Park?

A shame 3 of these fixtures are crammed into the space of 12 days.

    COYR!

  2. I'm sponsoring/hosting a Ukrainian refugee family through the Homes For Ukraine scheme.  33 year old Mum, 9 year old daughter and 5 year old son.  Been here 3 weeks now and settling in well.  It's exhausting but fulfilling. The stories they tell of their experiences bring tears to my eyes even as I type this.

Wondered if anyone had a spare Rams shirt for the kids, that they're prepared to let go?  Think there's a chance of them becoming lifelong fans.

I'm prepared to pay obviously, but a suitable donation from me to a Ukrainian charity instead might be a nice way forward.

Let me know what you've got!

    Thanks

That 4-3 defeat to Everton when Gregory put Foletti in goal for his only game.  Without doubt the worst goalie appearance I've seen in a Derby shirt and if we'd won that one I have no doubt we'd have stayed up.

That was the first time I took my son to watch the Rams.  He was eight.  Still a Rams fan though.

Remember turning and seeing the tears in his eyes after the Zamora goal. He was 20 then.  We battered QPR that day.

Well, there's always the bit we were in. Undercover and great view.

And- wait for this- fans who want to stand moved to back of stand so they weren't in the way of people who wanted to sit! We were gobsmacked!!

If you're really bored, you can play "Where's Wally" (Angie)? ? 20220426_230411.jpg

Are you the lady doing a solo Poznan next to the stairs??

You might have to prove your age if they think you look too young ?

We went to watch Bristol City v Rams (it's our local game) a few years back and my son had 'accidentally' bought an under-17 ticket.  He was fairly fresh faced, but was challenged at the turnstile.  'How old are you mate?', Err, sorry, I'm 19 he replied honestly, reaching for his wallet to pay the extra.  'Don't worry about it mate, for being so honest I'll let in with this ticket anyway!'

Realise that was a decade ago now.
