forced myself to re-watch Ronin last night, having seen it about 15 years ago and it not making a positive impression on me.
I have to say, it did nothing to change my mind, a load of old nonsense with a couple of car chases.

Two of the bosses - Beecroft of Wonga, and Angest of Everyday Loans - are massive Tory donors.
The latter even provided Cameron with a £5m overdraft, at 3.5%.

I might get some support for this one, but one thing, that truly annoys me, in fact, 'annoy' is mild.
Anyway, chip shops that use frozen chips.

I half agree @Tony Le Mesmer, especially when you read about people raping kids getting 8 years. Cocaine smugglers getting 23 years.
The whole lot needs ripping up and starting again.
Personally, make lorries like Faraday cages where no signal can be received, except for navigational purposes.

I'm not suddenly going to shop at John Lewis because they've got a Christmas ad out that everyone's talking about.
If I'm passing one and I need summat I'll go in maybe and have a look but I'm not going out of my way to spend my money there just because some marketing exec decided to waste thousands on an advert that's not even needed.
    Rant over.....i think.

The Sunday roast whipped up last night.  Aberdeen angus joint slow cooked for 8 hours, new potato crunchies, home made yorkshire, broccoli, baby carrots, stuffing balls & proper gravy.  Christ almighty it was good...

@Smyth_18 you perhaps don't have the level of anonymity here that some enjoy what with your charity stuff and running (great stuff btw). But I would always advise writing down whatever comes into your mind. There are plenty in here that have done so and it has been the trigger to some level of understanding and maybe even recovery.
If you don't want to put it out there to the masses, feel free to pick anyone in this thread and PM them, every one has a similar feeling from what I can tell. I personally have reduced myself to tears both reading and writing PMs based on this thread and it's helped me massively.

no problem, but trust me, reading some of the posts in this thread has helped me come on leaps and bounds, and quite selfishly, cos it perhaps feels somewhat inappropriate, I haven't credited those that bared their personal issues for helping me deal with mine. There are plenty though, from the communicating side of things, to lifestyle, diet, medication, exercise etc etc

Letting Agents who still insist on Tenancy Guarantors for people who have a secure long-term full-time job, meaning that their parents have to sign-up to be legally liable, not just for paying their rent, but also unlimited liability for anything else going badly wrong regardless of whose fault it is. And then charging a fee for "arranging" it. Scamming gets.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - anyone with the word "agent" in their job title should be first against the wall

if there's one thing you should know, you should never feel like your own feelings, if though you perhaps cannot explain and understand them, are irrelevant on the basis of comparison.
The whole reason I started this thread was because I was consumed and confused. Consumed by a heavy sadness, and confused as to why, when I have no relative reason (compared to others).
It became apparent from this thread that there is a massive spectrum from being aware you feel a bit low, to being on the brink of suicide, and beyond.
I cannot tell you what to do, and I cannot and will not tell you to ignore your feelings, but one or two things I will advise, take an hour and read through this thread, it will amaze you what you relate to and what you pick up. I will also say, talk to someone, anyone, it doesn't matter who, just saying it will be massively therapeutic and will trigger the recovery (or dealing with) process. Also, if weights aren't working, change the exercise for something else, if you're in a rut or regime, you won't feel a sense of achievement and a challenge.
All said and done mate, you are not alone in your feelings. You never will be. Hope things improve for you, and if you ever want to PM me, please do so. I have PMd others off the back of this thread, and it helped me, and others have PMd me, and I sincerely hope just talking helped them.

I'm not an expert but Mostyn is spot on (and that's a sentence I didn't think I would ever type).
One thing though: Execise is great & can help a lot but I would recommend doing cardio stuff instead of weights. Get the blood pumping for a good period of time regularly and you should feel some benefit.
