Not sure what your evidence is but I hope you trust mine as I've worked a bit on this.

After 46 games the average percentage of lucky/unlucky games net for a team is precisely 9%. The maximum is over 20% -hard to believe I know. This is based on the standard +2 clear chances aggregate worthy of a win.

The average discrepancy to the chances/goal average is 0.35, the maximum over 1. These can all be positive or negative.

You understand what the above mean in terms of points, goals and league positions at the end of a season.

That was the cat detector van from the ministry of owzinge.

    Owzinge?

It was spelt like that on the van. Never seen so many bleedin' aerials. The man said that their equipment could pin-point a purr at 800 yards, and Eric, being such a happy chap, was a piece of cake.

How much did you pay for this?

Er, 60 quid, and 8 for the fruit bat.

    etc.

Are all your pets named Eric.

The Championship features more technically skilled and tactically aware players than League One.

Championship teams have larger budgets, attracting experienced players from higher leagues.

League One relies on developing young talent due to smaller budgets.

The Championship showcases a dynamic, attacking style, while League One emphasizes physicality.

Championship players statistically outperform League One players in passing and shot creation, reflecting a closer quality to Premier League standards.

Well I guess the Prem teams like Chelsea have found out that having a good manager to spend the money is just if not more important. We're down in League 1 because we had points deducted not because we bought bad players or were out played.

I enjoyed last season more than this, and if this season ends in promotion I'll be glad to get out of this League.

And yet you wanted the manager sacked last season.

Well, I hate to side with Forest fans on anything but their club is well and truly screwing their fans over.

They’ve announced their season ticket prices and they’re frankly disgusting. Tickets going up 200% in 2 years, shifting age categories so some tickets going up £700… you name it, they’re doing it. My missus, for my sins, has a season ticket and hers has gone up £200 since the Championship - and this is after giving them money during COVID to keep them going.

Meanwhile, the club gleefully crow about having 10,000 on a season ticket waiting list. Pay up, or another customer (not fan, customer) will do.

Latest in a long line of things where their ownership really doesn’t get the difference between fans and customers. Premier league? You can keep it.

The waiting list isn’t even a waiting list 😂

You pay a one off fee of £10 to tell them that you might be interested in buying one, but you don’t get any priority 😂

I know there are some people willing to sit in the home end at away matches.  I do wonder, seeing as a club like Carlisle don't have a massive fan base, whether some people might have considered sitting in the away end at a home game.

    Not suggesting it, of course.

You need a previous buying history to obtain tickets from them, you can’t do it as an afterthought.

Dave Mackay's championship season we lost 3-0 at Carlisle who eventually finished bottom.

Clough's Derby team were top of the league in September 1969 and subsequently lost away at Sheffield Wednesday, who were bottom.

Football has always been inexplicable at times.

That loss at Sheffield Wednesday was my first away game, travelling in convoy down the M1 on Trent double decker buses.

It was the week after we had thrashed Spurs 5-0

Too late now, but probably wise not to advertise the fact there is a number of away fans in the home end with a week to go before the game.

Doesn't take much for the opposition club to catch wind and look into the ticket sales, one person reporting it, most clubs offer a no refund policy as well if you buy in the wrong end so they have nothing to lose by cancelling your ticket.

Clubs are well aware that this happens all the time, I opened an account at Cambridge a couple of months ago and I could have bought tickets for any other game but ours which I can’t buy for as I have no previous buying history, and I have a Notts postcode, they still keep sending me emails to buy tickets and get behind the lads though.😂

We are the 3rd highest goal scorers behind Bolton and Peterborough. We have the best goal difference.

But, if we were to finish on the same points as Bolton and they manage to claw back the goal difference and finish the same as us, they would be promoted due to scoring more than us.

We are actually 5th highest scorers behind Bolton, Peterborough, Barnsley and Oxford.

I don't know why they do not reduce the away section to say two an a half thousand, its not as if it gets filled very often therefore allowing more of the south stand to Derby fans. Also the disabled section in the bottom left could be moved to the lower section of the Gordon Guthrie stand if developed into one as again that area is not used much. If rail seating is introduced then this could further add a couple of thousand more.

Carlisle have been given an initial allocation of 1,778 with a further 800 if required, taking it up to 2,578.

Bolton had an allocation of 3,154 fans which still leaves 576 seats.

Is it possible these seats could be given to home fans 🤷🏻‍♂️
