I think what bothered Rooney is that staff were looking to him for answers and he couldn't give any because nobody had bothered to tell him anything. 
And Rooney being the guy he is wants to tell these people what they can expect, what might be down the road and what they can prepare for
I think what he wanted is more honesty and openness. I don't think he means to say that Mel has deceived anyone exactly. Just that he didn't have the best interests of the people at heart. 

Wayne Rooney stating what most of us on here already know that Mel Morris is a scumbag.
Never ever been sure about him from the time he went into the dressing room under Clement.
Whatever points deductions are coming, take them all now.
Barring a miracle, league one is inevitable. We don't want any more points deductions when we are there.
First thing any new owner needs to do is give Rooney a new deal and tell him to take us back up.

Rooney needs to be careful what he's saying about Morris otherwise he could be facing the sack. Oh wait a minute...... 

Makes sense. There's a point at which the total deduction is insurmountable. Once January comes, we may as well sell who won't be here next season whilst they're still under contract, then give whoever is left some first team experience. Either they'll impress enough to be sold on for money to help with a rebuild, or they'll gain valuable experience.

Incredible leadership from Rooney. Couldn't have any more respect for the man, he doesn't have to put up with this poo but has because he cares. ducking fair play Wayne.

After a rough month accidentally injuring Jason Knight, and the hotel room sleeping incident, the man has been a beacon for the club.
Criticise his on the pitch stuff, fine. But even that's been improving. You cannot criticise how he's handled the backroom stuff. 
Lampard always felt like he was only using the club as a stepping stone. The same can't be said for Rooney - it feels like he actually cares.

I quite like the idea of just moving on now and not having any more to say on him. 
What's done is done and any energy wasted on anger could be better spent elsewhere. 
He did throw a huge amount of his own fortune at the club but we are where we are because of him. 
Can't wait to move on

I don’t think Mel will be on Wayne’s Xmas list ??. Good on him it is clear how Mel kept everyone in the dark and shafted us all. 
 
Wazza is handling the questions very well. An annoyance of mine was how he was during interviews, even the handing Tom the captaincy. He must have watched the Kings Speech a few time. Like a seasoned pro now.
