Can weas Mr Gibson if we can play our U13's ? Or will that constitute another 12pt penalty for child exploitation ?

I think beyond them we should be tying up any of the very promising academy players on quite lengthy contracts to secure them for the future (i.e. the likes of Ebosele and Watson).
I'm convinced the only way we recover from this mess is on the back of academy players.

Having tried to decipher the EFL Agreed Decision appendix, I believe that the £15.7m budget is for all wages, bonuses and other payments for all the club's contracted players ie including academy lads. If so it means that those among us who thought we had an average of £12k a week exclusively for the 25 player first team squad stand to be disappointed. Anyway my ambition is simply to get to the end of the season with a new owner and heads held high on and off the pitch. Then game on!!

It’d have to be agreed with the player being subbed off, but I’d love it if Wayne made a sub to bring one of the youngsters on after a few seconds.
I know we might end up having to play with less players if we get injuries during the game, but it would certainly make a clear point, especially if it was a TV game, and would be within the rules as they’ve been presented in that document.

It's outrageous that we cant spend money on fees that we raise in player sales. Pure spite.

We’re still not allowed the same number of players as every other club, and it’s pretty obvious why they’ve done that.
Other clubs have the ‘Established Player’ rule, which is 24 players (under 21’s don’t count) that have started 5 games.
We have the ‘Permitted Player’ rule, which is 25 players (of any age) who have started 3 league matches in the Championship or above, or any player registered after the agreement.
What they really mean is if you plan on signing some players, or extending some contracts in January, we’re going to stop you playing your youngsters from the start in games as they will count towards the 25 players if they start 3 games.
Basically we’ve taken a massive punishment and we’re STILL being made to play by different rules to every other club in this league.
    Disgraceful.

I'm even going to join your crusade at the weekend IF you can answer me this one simple question...
    What rule did we break?

The EFL will probably ensure our Admin business plan is as crippling as possible just to add another layer to the punishment.

They won't say anything as there is a gagging order. Shame no -one gagged the EFL when they were leaking stories to the press.

It seems Quantuma have accepted what the EFL reportedly wanted all along in terms of FFP punishment, they've dropped the appeal over the administration deduction & accepted a business plan that gives us little chance of overhauling the 21 points penalty even if we get a wealthy buyer before January. We seem to have totally caved in with nothing in return.
Whereas previously Quantuma were confident enough to appeal the administration decision (and incur costs in relation to that) & pushed back on the FFP sanction proposed by the EFL.
Something doesn't add up. Look forward to hearing what Quantuma say to the supporters groups on Tuesday.

The reaction at the end of the first game following the announcement about administration was a thing of beauty and reminded me why I love being a football fan so much.
Cant say I love football too much right now though. I'd say pretty much every change in the last 30 years has made the game worse and made me dislike it a little more...Premier League, Champions League, FFP, VAR, rule changes...I dont think there has been a positive change for the game since the abolition of back passes.

This episode has had two effects on me. Firstly increased my loyalty and love for DCFC and the sport, and secondly cystallised my loathing of football administration, organisation and competitions.
    Conflicting.
If I could renew for next season now, I would. If I could flick a switch and give the entire staff of FIFA, UEFA, FA, EPL, EFL and all foreign leagues a dose of incurable, desquamating genital herpes, I'd do that also.
We'll be suffering this for another 18 months, if we can get a buyer, by the time the ridiculous restrictions are lifted. 4 years of limbo, all told? Worthy of a banana republic.
    Oh well. Up the Rams.

MIND should drop their links with The EFL - because the EFL are mindless.
For their to be no mitigation at all for the 22 months of depletion and deferred punishment suffered at Derby, is diabolical.
The DCFC squad shrinkage and 'silent' penalties suffered through the long embargoes during EFL appeals, such as the Boro legal actions, have damaged the club badly.
EFL media-feeds about the 'alternative' Wycombe-Derby fixture lists, and their 'regret' that no initial points penalty was inflicted in August 2020 shows that The EFL wanted to make an example of DCFC.
Birch & Parry have been sleeping on the job regarding any tackling of the Prem / EFL income distribution disparities, they are inadequate and need to be replaced.
They have dumbed-down the League because ever-increasing parachute payments make it anti-competitive without clubs breaking outdated rules - but they probably smile secretly to themselves because watching clubs like Sunderland, Ipswich, Derby in League One will allow them to brag how healthy the gates are in their third tier.

I just think there are too many unknowns to say the administrators did or didn’t have the clubs best interests/only hope in mind.
Maybe a sale needs to be secured within a certain period of time if the club was to survive and avoid liquidation. Perhaps an IDC would have taken the conclusion of any purchase beyond that date. I would imagine new owners have come to terms, and based their offer, on us playing in league 1 next season. I doubt they’d want a further 9/12 point deduction hanging around and possibly being delayed until next season.

So then we have been Bullied into accepting this that much is clear ( the administrators)
I believe we had a very good case in regards to the administration appeal and the EFL knew it and wanted it not to go ahead as other clubs would follow.
the EFL have threatened not to sort everything out and wanted to continue to strangle the club
the EFL wanted to show others that they could strangle the sporting life out of a football club and enhance the lack of sporting integrity in the league - what complete poo show

Find it a bit funny reading some of the comments about the adminstrators not doing their job properly or not having the club's best interests at heart.
Kind of overlooking the point that the adminstrators only came into the club as a certain person decided to put the club into administration otherwise they wouldn't be anywhere near us in the first place.
    Weird logic.
