Indicates how much we owe DC. Before he was appointed PB either Ashley or AA could have made a higher offer and neither did. DC has indicated he doesn’t really want the club but he’s still willing to offer enough to avoid another points deduction.

The rhyming is impeccable and content apposite. You wisely avoid those two easily confused words, infer and imply. BUT (sadly it’s a very big but) - 2 out of 5 lines don’t scan !!!
(I-Ram has the same problem. What it is with you guys ? No sense of rhythm - are you by any chance a $hit dancer too ? )
Oh and you need to learn to proofread

You could not make this up. The club that is now funded by a murderous regime says of Mike Ashley :
“his cloud continues to hang over our great football club.”

it seems very unlikely MM is in cahoots w DC. But it’s possible MM has some sort of ongoing interest - overage is common in that sort of contract. And if DC agreed to it I’d guess it was because it was the only way he could get MM to sell him the stadium.
Doubt that would have been a factor in WR’s decision — div 1 is a big stretch for him and it needed to be on his terms
Anyway, WR can hardly complain, he likes a bit of overage

Sorry missed this from the second marker. Please note the last 2 lines in particular :
The anapest metric must show the following pattern:
(da) da DA da da DA da da DA (da) (da)
(da) da DA da da DA da da DA (da) (da)
(da) da DA da da DA (da)
(da) da DA da da DA (da)
(da) da DA da da DA da da DA (da) (da)
(you can leave off the syllables in parentheses.)
But 1, 2 and 5 should match each other, and 3 and 4 should match.

kevinhectoring got a reaction from ariotofmyown in How do we get a Manager to stay with the club?
Think there are two different things:
- Rooney’s commitment to the job and to his squad both of which were excellent and inspired the players to give 100% week in week out
- his loyalty to the club which for me was never proven

You honestly don't believe he showed loyalty to the club....seriously ????

Only Rob Dorsett mentioned Wednesday. Nothing will be announced until the EFL tests are passed. That’s why he’s put funding in to pay the wages, fund tickets and allow us to start the season as he know that the approval, followed by exchange of contracts, etc won’t happen in a matter of days.
I think the next thing we’ll here is the outcome of the tests. At least this time with the ground sorted there won’t be as many people in the chain when it comes to signing the paperwork.

He bought the ground simply because there was an impasse - to enable the sale to KC. (See the date of sale) At that time KC was preferred bidder and in the middle of a purchase. No problem, right?
KC then pulled out unexpectedly, so DC then decides to buy the club - to save the club.
His actions were driven by events as they happened. I believe he had no intention to buy the club until until the risk of losing it became intolerable. I have absolutely no doubt that he will sell shares and fairly quickly - given the interest of Appleby's team. Makes absolute sense to me. I don't think we can slate him for rocking up late to the party, we was merely walking past eating a kebab at the time...

I guess it was easier to buy the ground first (the ground is not in admin and a deal with mm had already been agreed in principle).

kevinhectoring reacted to CBX1985 in The Administration Thread
This might, of course, be correct. I think what will happen is he buys club in full. He will then sell a percentage if, and only if, a bidder who has something to offer comes forward. For example, has a good knowledge of football; or has good ideas, or help the club forward.
I don't think it will be as simple as wanting to partially sell, but he is not in this for the money, so everything is on the table and he is not precious of it being "his".

You’re saying he’s planning to sell down some of the club shares, after he completes the purchase of 100% of the club ?
Seems like a possibility. But if that’s the one and only plan, why didn’t he buy the club and the ground at the same time, so that we could get on with signing some players?
(Sorry if any misunderstanding)

*You've omitted a full stop. Bit embarrassing for someone offering proofreading tuition! That said, anyone can make a mistake and you've kindly offered to coach me, so it would be rather churlish to refuse your offer. Let me try proofing your post and we can call this my first lesson. Obviously it'll be devoid of errors, or you'd look a complete fool, but we have to start somewhere.
Proofreader's notes: Use of multiple exclamation marks does not add emphasis, it's something 10 year-old children do when texting. Please refrain. Please also avoid inserting random spacing before any form of punctuation. It's unnecessary and grammatically incorrect.
Proofreader's notes: No less than 3 of the same spacing issues as detailed above, I'm afraid. That's no less than five separate grammar errors in a single post. On a stylistic note, though not grammatically incorrect, use of basic profanity adds nothing, it merely indicates a rather limited vocabulary unbefitting of a proofreading professional.
Grade: F
Summary: Sorry Kev, but on reflection, I might pass on your offer and seek tuition from someone whose first language is English.

Certain members seem determined to knock spots off each other at every opportunity to no real purpose at all.
Can I suggest you meet up at Clowes stadium at dawn where my wife will present you a vast choice of handbags to pick from. You can swing away to your hearts content.
Avoid the one with blood on the buckle; the result of an ill timed look at a passing pair of hot-pants!
