Wistaston Ram got a reaction from Reggie Greenwood in 8th January
I was 15 and it was the biggest game I had so far attended after seven years of mediocrity. I sat in the Osmaston Wing of the Ley Stand with my dad. I remember watching an old man a few rows in front, stoically sitting through a hail of coins throw by the Forest fans from the terrace below. it was like something from the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan. Not sure I have ever heard a louder roar than when Archie's free kick hit the back of the net or felt so elated walking back to the car afterwards.

Not if you was there Dave.
First few minutes, the lad in the white jacket in C stand throwing the ball at the forest player, a few seconds later you can see the police approach him.
Peter Taylor in his smart Harrington jacket and Burberry scarf, looked like the Man from C&A. (ask yer dads).
Pitch invasion when Archie curled that free kick in.
Atmosphere was unreal, proper old school in and out the ground.
Fantastic memories, its difficult to explain but we went from Champions in 1975 to relegation in 1980 while the gumps had their 3 seasons of glory.
When we won this Cup match we were bottom of Division 2 and they were 2nd in the top tier. Think of the ten man game but ten times more important or the 5-0 thrashing......
Good times, ?

After initially saying I wouldn't go because of the ridiculous kick off time, I've just bought a ticket. Would hate to miss a game in our unbeaten run and looking forward to seeing the match from another angle.

Wistaston Ram got a reaction from Tamworthram in Season/half season Tickets
Just read on Facebook Bolton getting very excited about their season ticket sales and wondered how ours compared after the closure of the half season sales window.

Not sure what the relevance of Bolton’s sales is but, as at 29th July is was reported as “over 19,000”

Barnsley had sold 1,054 by last night, their ticket sales finished at lunch time today, so more than 9,000 sold now.
It will be around 10,000 if no more blocks are opened.

Wistaston Ram got a reaction from David Graham Brown in Accrington Stanley (H) Mon 2nd Jan, 3pm KO
After seeing the highlights, I was pleased to see it was Accy's number 6 who gifted us the fourth goal. I remember him constantly trying to wind up Sibley at their place. Fortunately it didn't work and Sibley had the last laugh, being involved in the third goal.
It was a sending off for Osula, but I was not impressed with his over reaction to the tap on his leg. What an annoying little chap he is, to put it politely.

Crowd must be pushing towards 9k now, be good to get to 10k considering how few tickets had been sold about a week ago.

481 in the East stand.

Wistaston Ram reacted to Leeds Ram in One year on since the march
We cannot replicate the march. It was a product of a unique feeling of togetherness and desperation of our fan base, this was a time when many of us felt extinction was beckoning for an institution that had served our community since before any of us were born. The march whilst beautiful to witness, showing off the very best characteristics not just of Derby but of football in general, was also horrifying in the sense we felt we had to do it at all. I genuinely hope no other fan base feels the need to march like we did in an attempt to highlight our club's plight and fight for survival.
Everyone who participated should not only feel proud that they came out but have now entered Derby folklore. Generations will speak of that march not unlike we discuss the big European nights under the baseball ground lights. Except, in this version the fans are the heroes, the ones who stepped up and demanded resolutions. United not divided we all helped save the club from oblivion. For that reason I believe the club should mark that date every year with some kind of tribute.
Perhaps a video with players and former management with what it meant to them would be appropriate as well as interviewing fans who participated on the march accompanied by the silent drone footage which shows the sheer scale of it all. If we got to Wembley instead of playing steve bloomer's watching I'd see if I could get that shown pre-match tbh.
