Yes it's been proved time and time again, they got stripped of there Italians league champions through bribing and cheating but still there allowed to play football it's scandalous.

Typical bias BBC they hate/hardly say anything about Derby, if a Man United or Arsenal player had scored that goal you wouldn't have heard the last of it.

I'm pretty sure that a couple of decades later it was found that the ref had taken a bribe 🤷♂️, Helmut Haller who played for Juventus came from the same village/town that the ref came from.
Peter Taylor went into the refs changing room at half time to give him a talking too as his performance was sh!t, Helmut Haller was in there 😡, Juventus the kings of bribery 🙄

From the past I pick 2 matches both European Cup matches at the Baseball Ground 1972/73 against Benfica and 1975/76 against Real Madrid. Of the present you can't beat the play off semi finals against Leeds at Elland Road what a match.

Worst without any doubt was the cheating German referee against Juventus in European Cup Semi-Final in Turin who took a bribe from the Italians and they then tried to cheat the Portuguese referee at the Baseball Ground who didn't take the bribe.

What are your spine-tingling derby moments? The moments where a little tear started to come down from your eyes or a shiver went down your spine? For me there are more than a few. But the most recent one must be the atmosphere before kick off at Pride Park against Carlisle. Not sure I've ever heard the ground this loud and after all the club had been through a couple of years ago it felt like a truly cathartic release of passion, energy and noise. (youtube video start at just before 4 minutes)

Going on the most recent one, the split second where Bird lines up outside the box, you hear “SHOOOT”, then silence, then the net ripple, then the roar of celebration.
Before that when Marriott dinked it over Casilla at Elland Road.
Hendrick at the City Ground in 2011.
Pearson vs West Brom.

Didn't realise not great allocation, when they come to Pride Park only allow them the same.

I saw his last message on the news last night, and heard it again on the radio this morning. It was incredibly moving, but inspiring at the same time. I hope his family draw strength from it in the years ahead. RIP Rob Burrow.

I thought this might offer some solace on an otherwise sad day

ziggyram59 got a reaction from 1967Ram in Rob Burrows( Motor Neurone Disease)
Got up at 6.25 this morning and put BBC Breakfast News on and there was a half hour programme about Rob and living with MND it was heart breaking to watch and hard as well, there was one point when one of the doctor's was talking to him about the end and how he felt about it and he just smiled and said he didn't want anyone talking negative like that. You think you have problems in life and feel a bit down then programmes like that show us how lucky we are. I'm not ashamed to say I had tears rolling down my cheeks when his wife/mum/dad were trying to talk about life without him.
