Is Big Trav SuperDerbySuperRams, or has he retired?

Dave was a great player and a very good manager .
Sacked too soon.
Likes Des also .I think Dave’s best playing days where at Spurs .
I made a tongue in cheek remark about him being sent off every week now and was just trying to say the game has changed so much with VAR etc
Changed, not for the better in my opinion..
We could do with another Dave Mackay now. He would galvanize the team and instill some self believe in the players.

Yes he was. I liked Dave a lot. Des Anderson was a nice guy too, the few times I met him when he was running a pub......I think it was at Breedon on the Hill, but can't be sure. My mind is fading a bit now

Looking forward to Warne getting us up the League. Additions to squad would help.
Dave Mackay did once tell me I didn’t know what I was talking about lol 😂 in his Scottish dialectDave was known as the Laird. Nice chap. I've still got a few of his ties.
Dave and I were on News at Ten dancing on a table at Baileys nightclub, the night we were confirmed as champions in 1975. We both had a bottle of Champagne in our hands lol. No recording equipment in those days so I never actually got to see it.

I just do not understand why Warne comes out with some of the controversial statements that he does? Why say a potential new player is in the building when he clearly isn't?
It gives false hope to the fans
He should say nothing until the deal is done.

I wonder if this midfield player ever existed?
Was it just a ploy to deflect any pressure away from Warne and co if we'd lost against Fleetwood?
I really cannot fathom out what is going on at DCFC at the moment.

The question is, which building is this new player in?

And I thought the Wigan game was bad and I didn't think they could get any worse, but they have.
-
I think the current team is definitely a contender for the worst side ever.
We had a few bad sides in the mid 1960s and again in the early 80s, but I think the current team tops them both, as being the worst.
I can't comment on sides from 100 years ago + but I don't think we were ever as low in the leagues as we are now. I stand corrected of course.
-
This current team is definitely inferior to last season's team

Get gone. Too big a club for him. We are worse now than 12 months ago.
That is the worst half I have seen for ages.
Bradley should never play again.
Darren Moore in asap
Darren Moore was there tonight

Close the thread if true

There's mention of him talking to an unnamed League One club?

I think you were confusing it with the second season. We drew three and lost two in the first five games but we ended up romping the second division. Many pundits said it was the best second division team ever. Three seasons later, with just Boulton replacing Green, Todd replacing Mackay and Gemmill replacing Carlin, we were crowned League Champions. That's definitely not going to happen this time 😆
One reason it all changed after that poor start in 1968. We signed Willie Carlin. It all started to fit into place after her was put in the team

He's probably at the Jensen Bubble celebrating weir not signing him
-
We probably offered to pay him peanuts

Still not sure whether you're serious about this comment but - for my sins - I'm into the second half of watching last night's match in full (it helps to have low expectations after what everyone has said on here) and Bird has had a decent game up to now. Only one misplaced pass, otherwise he has driven forwards, played a few searching balls, kept the ball well. He looks like what he is: a talented player who would flourish in the right situation. He certainly doesn't look like he isn't trying or - as you put it - has "no pride in wearing the shirt".
So did you watch the match, or was this a wind-up?
I didn't watch the game last night 😉
I was there on Saturday though and that was bloody awful

Why though? Frustration from transfers perhaps
I don't know,, but if there is internal squabbling going on, as has been suggested, it's not going to end well I fear
