I used to love the the JPL used to sneak in through the railings on the racecourse,I was about 7 when I first started going down (1972). Unfortunately they’d have to be about 5 railings missing now for me to sneak in so I’m now a member 

The radio is a valuable resource for people who have little company, particularly in the evenings or in care homes.  This shovel everything in the bin as it's just nostalgic drives me mad.  Perhaps everyone over 40-50 should be recycled like in Logans Run.   

I am pleased that the only thing holding society back is the football results being read out on national radio at 5.00pm, I thought it was the idleness of the modern generation who expect everything handed to them on a plate with no work involved, I assume also that you do not plan on getting old and having any kind of disability, good for you!
Finally what is a "cash radio" I have used the google machine but cannot find any reference too one.

What gets me, they bang on about everything being about producing for the England team. Then put all their efforts into a form of the game no sod else plays, and doesn’t have an international version. 
 
I understand the bringing in new fans element, it has worked for my sister in law, who went to a hundred game last year, and is now cricket mad. I just don’t see why that couldn’t have been achieved by putting all that effort into the T20 competition. Chuck the money at that. Allow 4 overseas, play it in august and have the England players available, change the format if you need to and get games on the BBC, tell the clubs to have flashy rebrands if that’s what you want.

I think there is room for Tests, 4 day county cricket, the 50 over competition and 20/20...the 100 is pointless and devalues the 50 over competition and just takes time out of the schedule.....

Why does it make you angry?
The mens game makes hundreds of millions of pounds every year and is one of the most watched sports in the world.
If the womens game gets to the same level then they can be paid the same amount. Attendances, viewership and hence sponsorship for most womens games are well below the male equivalent fir most games.
Pay isnt based just on gender in any job. Its a very simplistic way of looking at it - there are many factors that come into it. In my job i would get paid far more if i worked as a consultant than if i was working for some piddly little loval business.
It took the mens game 150+ years to get to its current position and whilst the womens sides have made significant progress it will still take time.

Apropos of nothing, but does anybody think the (over) analysis of football and footballers is taking a lot of joy out of the game? In particular, when a new signing comes in and armchair experts and statisticians  have already decided how good he is, where he will play, how many goals he’ll score, how many ‘key passes’ he’ll make, where on the pitch he will spend most of his time and his overall value to the team. I find it really tiresome. Am I alone in that?
I welcome any signing. Can’t wait to see them play and then I’ll judge them after that (not using stats or heat maps, but using my eyes and nearly 50 years of watching football).

Better to get thrashed in the quarter-finals than to go out earlier.
Derbyshire were the only Division 2 Championship side to get through the T20 groups, so before some of you condemn them as useless, perhaps a little dose of realism is called for.
