Don't know if anyone else has noticed, but Kevin Bacon there, he just made a new Twitter to do this. Also, says he's former VP of Kirchner's company. Hmmmmmmmmm

If what Toby Perkins has said is true about MFC threatening to sue the EFL if they don’t help their spurious claim can be proved the authorities have a good case to push a criminal case for Blackmail. If provable it could ruin Gibson. I may have the wrong end of the stick but if not the sports minister should be all over this.
or perhaps simply drop a line to the fuzz, the claim by the admins must have substance/evidence otherwise they would be foolish making it.
It is true - came from the gob of Rick Parry himself. Listen to last night's sportscene.

RE: SJ knowing something or not as a result of talking to the Administrators - let us not forget that the Administrators have always projected a 'jam tomorrow' scenario where everything is imminent. Let's hope Jordan is onto something. I think it's a case of believing nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see. Can't even trust the old corner flag these days can we?

If I didn't have a grievance with Mr. Couhig because of his claim, and took my bias away, he seems like a good bloke. Then my senses kick in and remind me that he's a lawyer, who, like accountants sit in the legal thieves camp. Tribulations.

Can we email this guy directly? Putting the points to him he didn't answer? A few hundred should do it.

He was the majority shareholder in King, and led them first into an IPO, then a private sale afterwards.
Made $666m dollars from that sale, although he wasn't the only shareholder.
Seems a rather pedantic point you're making, if I'm being honest.
Sorry Rev, I didn't mean to be pedantic. I think I'm getting caught up in all this marginal detail surrounding everything at the minute. Apologies, didn't mean to come across as a moron ?

It seems we owe so much, to so many, that only a fan or a fool will save us.
Ironic on the day the company Mel sold Candy Crush to has been sold on again for $70bn dollars.
He's probably sitting pretty in the US with another windfall having landed in his lap.
He didn't 'sell' Candy Crush. He was a prominent investor. Undoubtedly a huge windfall for him though.

Why won’t the administrators allow Wycombe to go to court?
If their case is nonsense then there’s every reason to get it to court, however I do appreciate this should have happened months ago, time is now not on our side.
I believe it's because Wycombe can't bring it against an entity that is already in admin

On a more positive note,
"There are currently 3 parties who have made offers".
Not sure what that means .. does that include Kirchner who has made an offer but dropped out? Or currently there are three bidder sin the hunt. Anyway , the three are Appleby, possibly Kirchner and who else?
Kind of irrelevant at this stage Pete. Oddly, it's a minor detail.

How on earth anyone can believe a word the administrators say, is simply staggering!
It's not the Admins that are the problem. Come on!

One of Ashley or Appelby need to withdraw and leave the other as the only bidder. Then the admins can focus on the PB and going back to the creditors with a final settlement figure. Take it or leave it
Having options at this stage is holding things up.
I’m still not clear if Ashley has lodged a formal bid or just expressed interest.
Absolutely ridiculous comment. "Oh, I'm the only bidder? In that case, I can wipe 20m from my bid... take it or liquidise..."

Why so categoric. Were you, or someone close to you you can trust, at the meeting this morning?
Sold Rick Parry some paint on FB marketplace this morning and he said that they had a late night brainstorming session to curtail any positive progress. Said Steve Gibson sent them a pizza.

Nope I’ve tried to be optimistic but I think it will go like this :
• no preferred bidder today
• jags contract expires
• Lawrence sold
• Buchanan sold
• knight sold
Okay, so if the above is a very realistic worst case scenario, how much of an effect would it have in the grand scheme of this season...hypothetically. KB to return 'imminently'...
Even if PB not named, Rooney seemed to thing he could extend Jags(?) -

Does anybody actually hand on heart think we'll have a preferred bidder today?
It's a categoric 'no' from me.

Nixon tweeted 7 mins ago that Zoom call from admins to club staff is imminent
No he didn't. It's been and gone. He said it was to inform them of the latest 'imminent'. It ain't gonna happen today.

If you look at Kirchner's LinkedIn, you can see that as recently as 6 years ago, he was working at BestBuy flogging toasters. Now that's some meteoric rise, or 2 and 2 ain't making 4.

Would also be interested to know if young Bobby came in on the back of the super scouting strategy of Henry Croft (MM step son)...
